International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Do you think that only U.S had issued them loans?
They had loans from EU, also separate individual loans and....loans from IMF, WB, EBRD, IBRD etc....in long row.
Europe not only just had gave them a lot of grants, also issued loans and had negotiated with IMF, WB, EBRD, IBRD that these allowed Ukraine to postpone payments and even had issued next loans.
Japan had signed warrant letters for 2 big loans after Kim had started to escalate missile tests.. .
Norway too had issued loan and in next case grant for Ukraine..

And this is just about government's debt.
There are municipal debts and companies debts too and ofc privatr debts.

At least U.S assistance mainly is used in order to send old weapons to Ukr and to purchase new modern weapons from U.S manufacturers....therefore jobs in U.S are warranted and part from this money returns back to U.S.... jobs, salaries, tax, profit for companies etc.

So you're telling me that the US is making money off of lending Ukraine money in summary?

As long as we make money off of them it's good.

Yes because they are financing their jobs in U.S cos new orders for weapons are arrwing in long row.
Also a lot of money is saved cos cheaper is to ship old stuff to Ukraine rather than utilise in U.S and replacement anyway is scheduled etc...
Cool also that warehouses are more free and therefore no necessity to build new ones.

Thank you for that information. I've actually never heard that before.

Looking at avdiivka hole on map its little over 3km wide.

Retreat will be very hard soon if not already since route is presighted by russians. Not good if guys get encircled

Ammunition does have shelf storage time limits ....and after these limits manufacturer doesn't bear any responsibility that artillery / mortar ammunition will work or will work properly.
After this limit is reached ....refubrishment for $ should be done or...utilisation should be done ...and to utilize cluster ammo is very expensive task....therefore usually stuff is kept in warehouses and accumulating spiders nets...in reality.

For example if U.S is sending 155 mm arty shells like Excalibur ... it is real expenses today...
If batch with 500 000 Cold War era cluster ammo is sent.... it is HUGE money saving procedure blessing U.S taxpayers by reducing utilisation costs and expenses to build new warehouses might be avoided.
While as replacement new fresh shells & modern models might be placed in the same warehouse .....

Supply roads are shelled since December 2023 th.
Syrsky told about lack of ammunition for howitzers and mortars but looks that someone else had ordered to sent more troops in Avdiivka and Syrsky mabye will attempt to de block area in order to allow troops to evacuate. After this most likely Zelensky will install next chief....and continue...

Ukraine owes us a lot of money.

They just unearthed a tone of oil an gas that could help with that. Also all the food they produce, i don't think you need to worry about that. Also all those nuclear power plants might help the EU with theyre energy problem if an when they join the EU.

Plus weakening the Russia's global position, while giving china 2nd thoughts on challenging NATO/US. I'd think they're paying us back in other way's, aka doing out dirty work with out having to US American troops. So calm down...

They does produce more food than they are capable to consume in Ukraine even today, despite war. Ammount of food they produce is really impressive even today.
About energy supplies I'm not so sure cos europe now wants to install more generating capacity in EU, especially eurozone countries.

As suspected Johnson is going to block vote on bill both sides agreed on and spent so much time working on.....what a fuck stick he is.
Ofc as had been predicted. Prepare that border financing bill most likely will not be signed till December....

Ukraine looks that is running out of S-300 SAM missiles.
Russia is using this and is starting to bomb out ukr minefields near avdiivka and yesterday had dropped at least 50 gliding bombs on Avdiivka.
Also had delivered more artillery and " meat "....

Magic Mike strikes again impeached Mayoroka, no foreign aid, will not put the boarder bill for vote, admitted to talking to the trader Trump for hours before the vote. Who Mike Jerkson working for America or Trump?

"
Once again, Mike Johnson and House Republicans are taking orders from Donald Trump. First, Johnson rejected a bipartisan bill agreed to by Senate Republicans and Democrats that would have provided reform to our country's immigration system. Now, Johnson is again rejecting bipartisan legislation, this time, a bill that supports our allies overseas and would help in the fight to protect and preserve democracy.

According to Deepstate, the town of Adviivka has been cut off from its industrial zone. If the Ukranian units in the urban area needs to retreat, they'd have to do it through open field.

When Pavlo Zhilin and his patrol hit the streets of Cherkasy, men often swerve to avoid them. Pavlo is a conscription officer looking for soldiers for Ukraine's army. But almost two years into Russia's full-scale invasion, there's no flood of volunteers to the front line anymore.

Most of those who wanted to fight are either dead, injured or still stuck at the front waiting to be relieved by new recruits. In the central town of Cherkasy, like elsewhere, finding them isn't easy now that the first burst of enthusiasm and energy has faded.

Only thing worse than getting drafted is being drafted to fight a losing war.

Or being drafted by Russia and will not return until you are dead for the special military operation.

So far the draft in Russia has been limited to their reservists, and they are also using prisoners for their Storm-Z units. That is why there hasn't been any major upheaval so far.

Putin will not risk the stability of his regime with a general mobilization. He even refuses to call it a war just to appease the population.

They are coming from minority areas and cities far from moscow and saint petersburg. Same ol story when it comes to wars.
