International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Now effect will be lesser than if these had been sent for example even just 2 months ago.

The same strikes with ATACMS might had been more effective if used together with batch of cheap ukr drones and additionally with Storm Shadow / SCALP used together with decoys missiles MALD. Combined attack, however U.S till today didn't had allowed deep strikes. Since MALD are U.S production Ukr can't use these for deep strikes without U.S permit....

You seemed to ignore the link where a Ukrainian think tank calculated only 29 million remaining inside territories controlled by Ukraine.

When people wonder why the Ukranians haven't revolted yet its because most anti war people aren't in the country. Most people who remain support the war on some level and its going to take more to get them to throw in the towel then it would have taken the pre war population.

U.K didn't had elections during World War II and for a reason: according to law election stations should had been announced in public media with address and before elections. So Hitler might had knew where and when there will be gathering of civilians.
And to have week and more to prepare attack with bombers or / and to send diversants.
Another nuance is that soldiers too does have right to vote and I might imagine for example civilians, including observers in....0 line trenches ...¿¿¿...
Voting stations in 0 line trench with civilians and observers from other countries ( unarmed civilians ) + journalists?
Sure....

Looks like Kuleba is gone, along with several ministers in the Ukrainian government. There seems to be a major shake up in the upper echelon of Ukraine.

Not a great sign to be honest.

Zelensky is delusional. He had signed bill to increase fuel excise tax ....despite due to energetic objects striking a lot of Ukrainians are forced to use diesel or gasoline powered generators.
Also Zelensky administration wants that ukrainians use internet services like cabinet for communication with government services despite a lot of Ukrainians doesn't have electricity, not alone internet access ...

Zelensky administration wants retail sales mandatory to provide opportunity to pay with card if clients wants, otherwise fines, while for POS terminal to work normal! internet connection is mandatory....and doesn’t looks that he knows what stuff is war...

Interestingly it is rumoured that Kuleba will resign.
If this is reality, Zelensky administration should agree and IMHO immediately issue mobilization notice. Why not, if it is normal for example to put in trenches 43 y.o local electiricians, then why not Kuleba? When Kuleba will be free from his duties, he will not be essential worker and it is time to issue mobilization note immediately.
Maybe busification if he will not agree.

Apparently Belarus airspace is now used for russian drones. Putin isn't playing clean, why Ukr should. Allow them to strike the scourge with everything West provides.

Tbh is'nt first time Russia play dirty and to be even more honest nobody play clean either (today or before)

Ukraine should just do whatever they think work best for them, they're the attacked country and as long they are'nt cruel with russian non-soldier citiziens (who have basically nothing to do with this invasion) i give them moral freepass for about anything as long their land is occupied

eh, im not a fan of yet another Abrams. they need a ground up Vehicle which they canceled and also where is the 130mm gun an yet again still sticking with 120mm instead of going for a 130 or 140mm autoloading system?

American tank development is pretty pathetic compared to SK, Germany and china and Russia.

where is the competition? General Dynamics needs to not monopolize the armored vehicles in the US. They're already making the m10 Booker which also lacks an auto loading system and the Abrams is still selling
?. It also does have an auto loader. The current version of the Abrhams is probably still the best tank around anyways

It also solves a lot of problems of the old abrhams. It’s much lighter and requires one less crew (which is both good and bad).

Current best U.S tank is Abrams M1A2 with SEP3 and it is heavy as hell.
This might be sold to Poland because they doesn't looks that wants to install them somewhere outside from Poland/ Baltic countries.
They even wants to add additional stuff on top and then weight will be damn a lot more than for M1A2 SEP3.
Definitely at least 73.5 metric tons if not more.

Auto loader is good but there are pros and cons: it does require qualified mechanics to check and repair etc.
B. Auto loader strictly limits length of complete shell package that might be used.
If with manual loader by using separate shell and charge ....if room in tanks allows, you might use longer " dart " because end part of dart is 25- 35 mm diameter and chamber size in gun will not be problem because bore is 120 mm and chamber for this too.
For APFSDS now trend is : longer " dart " = better.
Therefore ImHO armata had design with unmanned turret : then longer stuff might be used with autoloader.
While crew in hull 100% definitely imposes more restrictions on tankmans size and they still need to meet S/C and endurance physical requirements.
