The 'real' Russian army will show up any day now with their unstoppable weapons. This has all been a feint. Putin going to Iran and DPRK to beg for artillery shells and drones was all a diversion.

Also campaign that Kiev stuff was just feint in order to tie ukr reserves ....
While in reality for this purpose was enough just to locate Belarus army near Kiev oblastj border without attacking kiev oblastj.
Then Ukr anyway had been forced to keep a lot of forces in Kiev oblastj...
cos belarus army technically isn't joke....
Ukr didn't knew are their SCUD launchers in working condition or no. Also they have Smerch and Grad MRLS and Thocka U missiles...plus some Polonez launchers ....and had enough tanks to worry about.

The distance between Andivka and Pokrovsk is 60KM so I'm thinking your math is wrong. And in the context of capturing Donetsk Oblast these are signifigant distances. All of Ukraines remaining major cities in Donbass are within that range.

If 60 km during 1000 days it still is awesome achievement.
Ofc Russia will portray this as win ws evil west etc.

West dosn't care who will own Donetsk oblastj. Maybe even better if Russia, then bad west will not pay for reconstrucrion but russian taxpayers.
Mining industry ofc was valuable thing for ukr budget, while for customers : for them pofig who from oligarchs will operate mines...simple business and nothing special.

A lot of european taxpayers are happy that they will not be forced to pay grants etc for reconstruction of Donetsk oblastj....

Also, in reality, the context isn't just Donesk Oblast, Russia was trying to take over the entire country.

Their current demands are for 4 provinces which they have nowhere near control over.

Ukraine has lost this war. Accept it. Live with it. Move on with your life. Zelensky is already at the table for negotiations with Putin and Trump. Ukraine is like Kamala Harris, all bark and no bite. Supported by a biased media on false propaganda. In the end she lost as Ukraine will also lose. Deal with it buddy. Life does not always turns out the way you expect it.

Both russia and ukraine had lost this war.
Real winner is BIC without R. Now appears that also NK and Iran...

BIC these 1000 days had get investments and accumulated wealth by trading with all sides.....and purchasing stuff from russia with discounts and selling stuff for russia for good prices.
BIC during these 1000 days manufactured weapons and ammo and increased stockpiles significantly....while russia had seriously depleted stockpiles...till had to beg NK for ammo and old arty peaces.

Russia had been excepted to fold ukr easily...
Instead this we have to see 1000 days war.

Putin also demands that Ukr should recognize Crimea and these 4 other provinces de iure as part of Russian Federation....

For example if Ukr after 2014 th had recognized Crimea as RF province, then Kremlin had 0 sanctions....
