International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Well, it's complicated. First they would bribe them for a billion dollars (like Joe Biden did in Ukraine). Send them even more money to win them over. Then they get permission to build KGB bases there. Then they remove the president of Mexico in a coup and install a russian friendly president and tell the rest of the world that they did what Mexicans wanted. Then.....they would build their military up next to America's southern border.

If America had something to say about any of this, they would give the Mexicans long range missiles so that they can send them into America.

Also forgot the part where the US proceeds to annex the whole Baja and starts a civil war in the Northwest.

Well one tour in Afghanistan and one in Iraq. That's two more than you isn't it?

Keep killing russians until Putin's had enough and comes to the table. As it stand now, Russia won't even have the troop numbers to successfully occupy Ukraine. Only way that changes is if we surrender now and let them consolidate those gains and try again in a few years.

My stance is firmly rooted in international law and US foreign policy. Russia violated a sovereign nations borders and has no leg to stand on to issue any demands. And I have no patience for the opinions of cowards.

Been thinking about the North Koreans today. Surely those lads can't be happy about being sent across the world to the trenches fighting for another country only to be used as cannon fodder to be blown to bits instead of Russians? At what point do you think Kim says "Nah, I need to keep my people for the imaginary war with America that's gonna happen"?

At least they get access to pr0n now that they're in Russia, so win-win, I guess?

Nope.
Plus, I got 20 years in and a pension. What do you have? Did you get a Purple Heart out of your ordeal? A Bronze Star was 'a-dime-a-dozen' award. Folks put themselves in for it. Please don't bring this one up.

😂
Let me edit that for you Mr. Balls:
"Keep killing Ukranian soldiers until Zelensky has had enough and comes to the table."
Actually, Zelensky is at the table waiting on Trump and Putin.
"As it stands, much of the Ukrainian male population, economy, and infrastructure has been destroyed."
Why is the desertion rate in the Ukrainian Army so high if they are winning?
Russia got 10% of Finland at the end of the Winter War in 1940. Russia gets 20% of Ukraine at the end of this conflict in 2025.
My stance is firmly rooted in international law and US foreign policy. Russia violated a sovereign nations borders and has no leg to stand on to issue any demands. And I have no patience for the opinions of cowards.
🤣
Do you really think I give two-shits about your stance on international law and US foreign policy?
Ukraine insisted on joining NATO at the disapproval of Russia. Zelensky dragged his people into this stupid war.
Didn't the US violate a sovereign nation's border when it invaded Cambodia and Laos during the Vietnam war?
Cuba and the Soviet Union insisted on putting nuclear missiles in Cuba at the disapproval of the United States.
So, Russia can't tell Ukraine what to do, but the US can tell both Cuba and the Soviet Union what to do? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

Only coward here is you mate in attacking a fellow veteran when this thread first started.

US does not want Ukraine to win. I hate to say it but it seems US wants some type of settled peace treaty.
First intelligent post you have made in a long time.
Of course the US does not want Ukraine to win this conflict. This has been the case since day one. NATO has not and does not want Ukraine to join the organization. Ukraine is a European problem and should be funded by Europe. The US should have never gotten involved. The money given to Ukraine by the US in the past 3 years could have been better spent on other causes. Uncle Joe also played a hand in getting this conflict started. Trump will cease 90% of financial help to Ukraine. Ukraine will let Russia keep the territory it currently has and that will be the end of it. A waste of time, money, and lives. Very similar to the US war in Iraq.

Nope.

It's weird you would complain about being attacked by a fellow veteran, when not only did you start this bullshit, but i've seen you get into squabbles like this before. And on top of that, your actual opinion of the American military seems less than great -or even to have basic respect- at various points when talking up the wonders of Russian stratagem lol

Nope.
Plus, I got 20 years in and a pension.

So zero combat experience.

Russia got 10% of Finland at the end of the Winter War in 1940. Russia gets 20% of Ukraine at the end of this conflict in 2025.

And we are going to force Ukraine to cede territory to an invader? Why? There is no reason to side with Russia on this you coward.

Do you really think I give two-shits about your stance on international law and US foreign policy?

I don't think you have any values at all. Frankly, you sound like a straight up traitor and an embarrassment to the United States.

Ukraine insisted on joining NATO at the disapproval of Russia.

100% false.

No, I never started shit. I don't attack people unless they attack me. I hate some of the 'toxic' environment some members here help to create. I can have any opinion I want of the US military - the U.S. Army in particular. I gave 20 years of my life to the cause, and do not regret it. It is a shame what the US military has turned into with all this DEI bullshit. We are now a weaker fighting force. Russian action in Ukraine is no different than US action in Cuba. Thankfully the Soviet Union backed down and there was no war. We provoked the Soviets by putting nuclear missiles in Turkey and Italy prior to the Soviet Union putting missiles in Cuba.

Russia has been around for a long time, and I do admire much of its history and culture. We could not have won WWII without them. It is a shame this part of history is now gone.

This rambling diatribe brought to you by Horse's Ass!
Horse's Ass, for all your nonsensical ranting projections!

Like seriously though it's clear you just have a hard on for the totalitarian nature of Russian political society

You have been wrong all along and you will long again before you disappear in shame again for a year.

lmao, no combat experience. POG confirmed.

Ukraine winning so hard that desertions have nearly doubled this year.
Minimum of 100k Ukrainian soldiers have deserted, and that number could be as high as 200k.

More than 100,000 soldiers have been charged under Ukraine’s desertion laws since Russia invaded in February 2022, according to the country’s General Prosecutor’s Office.

Nearly half have gone AWOL in the last year alone, after Kyiv launched an aggressive and controversial mobilization drive that government officials and military commanders concede has largely failed.

It’s a staggeringly high number by any measure, as there were an estimated 300,000 Ukrainian soldiers engaged in combat before the mobilization drive began. And the actual number of deserters may be much higher. One lawmaker with knowledge of military matters estimated it could be as high as 200,000.
