The Armed Forces of Ukraine have created a military commandant's office in the occupied territories of the Kursk region
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky reported this to Zelensky during a meeting. According to him, the body is headed by the former commander of the Joint Forces Operation, Major General Eduard Moskalyov. The commandant's office will be engaged in "maintaining law and order and ensuring the primary needs of the population" in the captured territories.
According to Syrsky, the number of Russian settlements controlled by Ukrainian forces has allegedly increased to 82, and the depth of penetration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into Russian territory now reaches 35 kilometers.
