You know these areas that Russia wants are the most important areas to Ukraine's livelihood. It would make Ukraine's economy dead to the world by controlling the ports and the shipping areas. This is hardly a deal by any means. Oh and giving anything up will only embolden Russia to push forward at a later date. NATO membership going to happen because Russia will realize by removing Putin this is a bad deal.

Will not be NATO member regardless promises and doesn't matter will they cede land to Russia or no.

They will not get even MAP provided ( so called roadmap ).
Also about EU membership they might forget: Orban and Fico will not allow Ukr to be accepted in EU....

France needs more pressure on Russia. Niger has kicked out us troops. The French withdrew their military last year.

France used to get sweetheart deals on their uranium due to the cfa. That's ending throughout that entire region. France is going to be fucked financially. They have the same deal most of the countries of the sahel region got.




Looks like Niger picked Russia over usa and France to fight terrorists. The Africa " corps " [Wagner].

They supply quite a chunk of uranium to France and the EU

Last 48 hours:

1. Ukraine defeated a Russian assault in Terny direction and destroyed at least a dozen Russian armored vehicles.

2. Russian VDV reportedly pushed to the edge of Chasiv Yar so another urban battle will likely take place after Avdiviika.

3. Ukraine claims to have destroyed or damaged 6 planes with a drone attack on Russian airfield, but no visual confirmation was provided.

The point being that in the remote ass chance that the conflict could get the North/South Korean treatment, its going to be much better than having Ukraine lose its most precious resource that is its people.

Then if Russia ever wants to be a non-pariah nation then there would be an argument in favor of returning territory.

But that's a pipe dream, Russia would never accept Ukraine in NATO.

Civies get guns only after invasion had started...

Therefore a lot of civies had served their mandatory service ....someone maybe year ago, someone maybe 25 years ago.
Therefore at least how to use assault rifle they will re learn quickly.... it isn't like if you have complete noob here.
