Well, clearly after the war started the grip on press has tightened and the main thing is that the majority of the population support the military operation so the opposition is not getting much traction right now

Because they are told they are defending the homeland ...do you believe that?

EU IMHO will attempt to start discussions with ECB next week.
ECB maybe will start assessment of possible assistance to Ukr.
Big cons: they are slow as snail..
Big pros: Orban does have 0 impact here.

Inhabitants ... Sure.

For example village had 20 gypsies, 20 uzbeks, 20 armenians and 30 Georgians, 30 tatars and 300 Ukrainians, 200 Russians....
After Frontline get closer village had just 150 Russians and 20 Ukrainians.
Vuala, Hitler does have opportunity to declare that village was ethnic Russian area....

Yeah. I’m sorry, when Baltic states topple our monuments, Europe is banning Russians from entering their countries via cars on Russian plates, people with Russian names get their bank accounts frozen etc - all of it is discrimination based on nationality affecting people that have nothing to do with the regime.

In a situation like this, most people say fuck your Europe, we will support the man who have been saying Europe has been against us.

You can thank retards in EU for their useless sanctions and their treatment of ALL Russian people for high Putin ratings
YOUR monuments in THEIR country....

C'mon man, be honest with yourself.

It happens i.e. Alaska. The Russian and Chinese navies pass within miles of the US coast to do training exercises. Alaska not hawaii/ca? Not a fleet of battleships? So no act of war? Your position is strange.

It’s not the same thing.

Sailing a warship near a fishing village in Alaska is not the same as sending a fleet of warships along the coast of Los Angeles …

The fact that you conflate the two to make some loose point is strange.

Look, I understand the position of western community, on paper it looks legit.

BUT

When Merkel, Hollande and Zelensky himself stated that the Minsk accords were signed just to give Ukraine time to bolster their military and then attempt to reclaim Donbass and Crimea by force, all bets are off. Putin was fooled and he doesn’t forgive it.

Zelensky rating before the war was 25%, he wanted this war to become a liberator, defender of the nation and to keep his power.

He’s 100% to be blamed for this war just as much as Putin
All bets were off when Russia sent their troops and bus loads or Russians into Donbas and de facto annexed it. If they respected Ukraine's sovereignty they would have pushed for some type of internationally recognized referendum to absorb Crimea. What they did is just criminal and most of the international community realizes what type of precedent it would set to allow them to draw new borders.

Kosovo ?

How is Russia still able to build stuff? I thought their economy was in shambles after the sanctions.

Not sure about Zeihan's predictions, he's very sure Chinda is collapsing , and after watching a few different documentaries from other I can see how they are in trouble.

Kim Jong Un has said that NK needs to have more children born also. Kinda hard to have more kids when there's pretty much a guaranteed famine every year.

In 1938 Hitler launched a small special military operation to liberate Germans in Sudetenland.
Chamberlain negotiated giving this land to Germany to prevent escalation.
Hitler had used these natural resources and workforce to boost up his war machinery even more.
Protected by Hitler Germans from Suddetenland had been used against United Kingdoom, Poland and USSR, Denmark, Netherlands, France, Belgium, Norway.....and Chechoslovakia.....against Ukraine btw too....in trenches, to serve in navy and air forces etc.....

History does have tendency to repeat and ppl aren't learning any bare thing.

In 1938 th a lot of prophets told that Japan isn't threat for United Kingdoom and U.S.

NK does have considerably more natural resources than SK.
All problem is because Kim is using almost all NK economy for weapons and ammunition production and to build tunnels and bunkers etc like stuff.

Otherwise NK should had higher GDP than SK.....considerably higher due to very impressive resources for mining industry and more actual opportunities to develop very powerful agricultural sector too....

How about if you want to keep people from rebelling don't alienate them into starting a armed revolt against you?

How about valuing humans and their feeling over stupid imaginary shit like borders?

Funny how "democracy" always no longer matters when it doesn't get the wests desired result.
You’re shockingly out of touch with reality.

He was impeached for taking a big pay off and going against the platform he ran on. He was legally voted out of office for his blatant corruption. It’s really weird how you seem to be against corruption in some of your posts, but when push comes to shove you reveals yourself as nothing more than a contrarian

Selling weapons is one thing, sailing warships along the coast of China and through the Taiwan straights is provocation.

You may argue that it’s “international waters”, but If the Chinese sent warships around Hawaii or along the coast of California … it would be seen as highly provocative, perhaps even an act of war.

Yeah? What about the Chines and Russian warships close to Alaska?
"The nearly dozen Russian and Chinese ships that sailed near Alaska's Aleutian Islands last week as part of a joint exercise -- leading the U.S. to deploy warships and aircraft to monitor the formation -- are now moving away from the region, according to two American officials."

You have a smooth brain if you think the Chinese send a fleet of battleships around Hawaii and the US military say “hey, it’s still international waters, bro” …

China doesn't have a fleet of battleships that can reach the West coast of the US without a major undertaking. Idiot.

Still, an incredibly stupid point. To argue that the US can't sail in international waters in compliance with international law because China might sail in international waters near us.

But riddle me this: Partisans like you claim we need to elect republicans because they'd be tough on China. Yet you are crying that we should stop doing something perfectly legal because it antagonizes them. What else would you have us bow down for in the name of not upsetting big scary China? How can you argue that your side projects strength, when you always want to bend over for a dictator?

Well sorry there sport, the rest of the world isn't as soft as you. We'll keep up our naval patrols to let China know that unlike some very timid posters here, we intend to stand up to their threats. And you can sit back and watch China do nothing about it.

China and other countries don’t have to be our enemies.

I don’t advocate “being tough on China”, I advocate respect and co-operation, as we are all human and we all live on this one planet.

Well how about we cooperate around the same international law we all agreed upon?

Do you even understand the argument that China is making here? It's that because Taiwan is actually part of China, it isn't the open ocean between them, but instead it's all Chinese territorial waters.

And where does that stop? When the Chinese claims all this shitty sandbars they are trying to build up in the pacific are also Chinese territory, and thus we are now looking at thousands of square miles of ocean that now suddenly belong to China.

This equivocating is useless, because we already have an internationally agreed upon norm. Your norm seems to be just agree with whatever a shitty dictator says, even if it flies in the face of what you believe. That's not being tough on China. That's actively throwing away what you believe in order to appease someone in the wrong. And that's the opposite of strength.
