It appears that the Russian Su-57 fighter jet may have been involved in the recent missile strikes on Ukrainian positions along the front line.

According to eRADAR, Russian military aviation has increasingly been utilized to conduct missile and bomb strikes on Ukrainian military positions, emphasizing the challenges faced by Ukrainian forces in the absence of Western-provided F-16s promised for their defense.

The Su-57 is a twin-engine, fifth-generation stealth fighter aircraft and represents Russia’s maiden attempt to create such a technologically advanced aircraft. The first Su-57 was delivered to the Russian military in 2020, and reports suggest that their fleet is expected to grow to approximately 22 by the end of the next year, eventually expanding to 76 by 2028.

The aircraft reportedly made its combat debut over Syria in 2018, where it was involved in operations in support of the Assad regime.

Looks like they might actually deploy a small number of these to take on F-16s. Which actually would be pretty smart.

I also read that RQ-180 may or may not have flown around Ukrainian airspace

Way to out yourself as a paid Russian shill

?? It's being reported outside of RT.

I think this is the biggest issue, aside from manpower. Ukraine is being far more careful with it's personnel because that is a resource with a clear finite supply.

Sanctions aren't going to do much more to Russia, especially with so many loopholes being exploited i.e. selling Russian oil in international waters. They are converting to a war economy and I think they'll do this with more motivation than the Western supporters.

Of course if Trump gets in this war will end quickly, unless Europe grows a backbone and supports Ukraine alone but I don't see that happening. I'll happily eat my words if those predictions are wrong.
Yeah, I think it's a good prediction. The truth is that Russia is backwards but it's still a huge country with lots of resources. Their GDP might be smaller than the Netherlands but that doesn't really matter when you can make the stuff yourself. They are also always able to get some stuff from India, China, Iran, North Korea.
NATO can only supply Ukraine with so much. NATO will not give Ukraine F-35s, a thousand Abrams, or more importantly, a hundred thousand trained men. Russia will most likely be able to hold a major push by Ukraine.
Now, that isn't bad in itself to NATO.
NATO has lost nothing, Russia is losing soldiers, materiel, and their economy is weakened. A long, drawn out war is good for NATO. It would take a complete Russian victory to change the scenario.

Europe for the first time committed to supporting Ukraine no matter what the US does but very well will cut out future economic deals over Ukraine oil and gas as well as mineral deals. What say Trumpsters that EU nations are steeping up?

"
All 27 European Union foreign ministers descended on Kyiv on Monday in a historic show of support after the passage of a U.S. funding bill that included no new aid for Ukraine and left future support for the war with Russia in the balance.

The E.U.’s top diplomat, Josep Borrell, sought to emphasize the importance of the first meeting of foreign ministers held outside the bloc.

“This joint meeting of European Union foreign ministers with Ukraine in Kyiv should be understood as a clear commitment of the European Union to Ukraine and its continuous support in all dimensions — support for the military, support for a just peace, accountability and working for the membership path,” he told reporters after the meeting. "

I think the US has made Ukraine a bargaining chip in their politics, and that's pretty sad.

It doesn't matter who wins here in the UK, Labour and the Conservatives will both continue to support Ukraine and allow it to defend itself.

If USA does withdraw its support, I think their public image will take a pretty severe hit to be honest.

I think that unless the crazies get elected that even a "normal" person in the right wing would still support Ukraine. Don't forget that it's less than one year until the U.S. Presidential election and that you're going to see a lot more craziness (to get votes) in this timeframe.
