International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V12

Seems like the British are doing some new shit after looking at Ukraine's urban warfare.

British experimental urban warfare units? Is this a new concept for the British?
The American Army has trained on this for years. I did it in basic training, Infantry Officers Basic Course, and Ranger school.

You do wonder what the aircraft' role was in this, i mean i doubt they would have intervened (aka engage Russian ships/subs) if the Russians did try to stop the tankers.
Just once again calling out a Russian bluff I guess?

I really don't want this question to be answered. But at this point, I doubt Russia may have the means to engage in a shooting match on the Black Sea and Ukraine.

From what i understand (anyone feel free to correct me, might be wrong on this) the Russian surface fleet is staying far away from Ukraine since the Moskva got sunk, basicly staying in Crimean ports.
Still, their subs should be more than able to strike the grain ships without risk.
Something tells it'll happen in the coming weeks (if there's no new deal) aswell.

If the U.S. didn’t spend this on UKR they would spend it on a different military item. There isn’t sufficient will in DC to end homelessness or hunger. The dollars are there.

Since I dont live in an imaginary world I will disagree with you. The world cannot sustain itself with never ending handouts....although things are trending that way.

Brilliant analogy , however instead of blaming UKR for the money not being there ask yourself why hunger and homelessness was a thing in Jan 22 before the war started.

Well the answer seems kind of obvious when we see how billions are always spent on useless foreign policy projects that will do nothing for the average American. How much was wasted in Afghanistan and Iraq? The same sentiment was used against the spending in those wars so Ukraine is just more of that wasteful spending.

Just out of curiosity, you actually believe that if Russia never started this war, poverty in the US would have ended in/after 2022?
