Damn, that is grim for the Russians if true. Pilot killed his crew and then defected over. That is sure to create further trust issues in their ranks.

Yeah.
While before this too some big shits had happened.
1. Su-34 accidentally released gliding bomb in Belgorod oblastj, Russia...bomb landed in forest.
2. Airplane crashed in city in Russia.
3. Friendly fire cases with 2 airplanes : deNazification done by S-350 ... This system later get sofrware upgrades to prevent friendly fire cases....
Gerasimov sadly for Ukraine appeared skilled in radioelectronic things....

If as rumoured in internet by trolls Ukr really had used S-200 missiles in ground to ground mode.
They ofc does have huge disatvantages cos were not designed for ground to ground mode.
They also are old, long ago manufacturing had ended.
To intercept S-200 missile for air defense is more difficult than Iskander or S-300 used in ground to ground mode.
Stuff is faster than SCUD missile....

When Russia will attack Finland maybe you will be happy.
Prepared flowers to meet russian tanks?
Mobilisation, nice talks and stuff Ukr didn't had get sure will be delivered very quickly.
There is opinion that easy to see U.S and China's clean intent to sell Ukraine to Russia and to loss war is just preparation step for VERY large scale war in europe.
In such case Finland, Baltic countries and Slovakia + Czech republic and Romania will be most likely used as buffer to slow down comrades till enough high number of germans etc will relocate from Germany and so on.
Some % of politicians in Germany most likely will agree to cede to Kremlin even East Germany ofc with Berlin and Czech Republic + Austria too if they might get cheap natural gas and better if with discounts.

Yes I was born in Moscow.
I had to see fall of USSR, my dad had paid small bribes to get better quality work from plumbers, I had to see these stamps and my dad had served for russian occupation forces stationed in East Germany and had repaired tanks ...
I don't think that this is big shame...

"The death of Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin will weaken Russian forces in Ukraine and reduce the Kremlin's influence in the Middle East and Africa. Four sources close to the Russian government told the independent Moscow Times. Two of the informants say that everything in Prigozhin's business empire was tied to him personally, and that the Kremlin cannot possibly continue business in its current form. It is about everything from the mercenaries to the media, the mining projects and the political advisers, the newspaper writes. The sources say it became clear to Putin that Prigozhin posed a threat to the regime. A current Russian government official, who previously served in the country's security services, says he believes "the chief was afraid that Prigozhin would miraculously appear in the election. "I don't believe it myself. But who knows what's going on in the Tsar's head?"
