So there might be done one real deal.
POTUS, Senate and Congress issues U.S citizenship to all ukr willing to relocate from Ukraine.
U.S friends in Kremlin will get all Ukraine without ukrainians and everyone will be happy plus russian taxpayers will pay for reconstruction.

It was expected really since all professionals, volunteers,idealists and people who just want to be first guy on block with confirmed kill, have signed up already.

This too depends from unit.
In russia too even for pros. Some cases they doesn't teach guys regardless are they paid pros or conscripts.
Some units are supplied with a glance and generously, some....yup.
It is suggested that on paper " captured " by Ukraine russian tanks were abadoned because... kleptocrats didn't had delivered fuel...
Such idea is partially confirmed also with facts that Ukr despite in some xxx cases were able to demonstrate tanks etc, weren't able to show enough POVs etc.

There are suspicions that despite ruassia does have a lot of cheap fuel and lubricants these weren't supplied in time.

Sadly more for Russia because they does have ammunition etc production, supplies from Belarus and obiviously most likely Iran and North Korea.
While Ukraine is in huge risk that IF ceasefire will be here...they will get lesser supplies in order not to trigger comrades in Kremlin.
So Russia might use such time to manufacture and procure more weapons, deliver them to dumbass and prepare for next war episode.

I wonder how true this statement is as I'm personally skeptical. Peace gives you time and time buys you opportunities. Things can swing in your favor before stepping onto a battlefield however I understand the sentiment. There's been a lot of lives lost and giving up now would be a tough pill to swallow.

I think any cease fire would 100% delay the inevitable especially as Russia will never give up annexed territories. They will simply re load and advance their weaponry while creating even more defensive positions.

Ukr air force was below Denmark, Norway, Netherlands etc and worse than Portugal in 2020 th.

I fully endorse anyone on either side of this conflict not fighting. It's not worth it, just worry about yourself and your loved ones. Let the elites fight their own wars. The average man is considered disposable by government and by the interests that own them. You won't see any elites on the frontlines, nor will you see women(Unless they volunteer) If all the men sent to be fodder on both the Ukrainian and Russian side refused to fight, this would be over very quickly.

Their is this notion that somehow military aged males are mandated to suffer and die on the whims of corrupt and murderous governments while everyone else sits back doing nothing. Fuck all that.

I agree about this senseless war that Putin and Russia has started has brought massive death and destruction. I'm sure very few would want to be conscripted that wernt already soldiers but UKR is in a position where if they dont stand and fight they lose their country it's a simple as that. In a world of fairy dust and unicorns they could just refuse and everything will work itself out but that isnt reality.
