Tell me exactly, in your infinite wisdom, how the Ukrainian Army is going to get through that?

Just because we've had success in airborne drops in our history, does not mean Ukraine flying slow moving planes through a deathtrap of anti air, to then drop units in between a minefield and dug in enemy; all the while being within artillery range, is beyond stupid.

It seems to me Putrump has been pulling the strings in the backroom pressuring to cut Ukraine war funding. Not only that but it seems the supposed lefty New York Times is making similar headlines to push for progress in the war. Everything I see points to progress but I bet Putler been seeking to pressure the US into pushing Ukraine to make mistakes. This feels like MTG and other right wing nitwits are having increasing influence on MAGA nation and Politicians who follow and Trump continues to hang over the heads of so many.

While for Ukr now looks that better is current actual tactique (?) concentrated on ....to expose and hit ammo depots, radioelectronic warfare stations, radars etc....

It is cheaper stuff: cheap and simple mines to stop and artillery & MRLS on top....

Cheap, simple and till today does looks that had worked really well.

+ simplest model large disk type anti tank mines for russia looks that are for free ( produced long ago ) or maybe 5-10 bucks for 1 mine.

I'm not a vet or even a military historian, so I won't be wading into the is-he-or-isn't-he type stuff. But we have a number of career military guys around here, and when their bullshit detectors start going off, well, it probably means something lol

Well, first of all, the terrain is radically different, the size and scope is radically different, the fortifications are different, the breath and sophistication of anti-aircraft weaponry is massively different, and the inclusion of other contemporary technologies such as drones dramatically alters the way we even think about approaching an assault of fortified positions. You know, this is just broad, non-specific strokes off the top of my head. You'd have a much shorter list trying to suss out what would even be close to the same.

No, I mean mobilized = people with previous experience in army. While conscripts are people with 0 experience in army.
