You have it arse about face. NATO didn't expand, all members voluntarily sought to join NATO to have protection against Russian aggression and imperialism. There was no coercion on NATO's part. It would be like saying Pamela Anderson forced all the men she'd ever slept with into having sex with her.

Ok well at least we both are in full agreement that Russia's actions to derail NATO growing in size has been objectively very stupid. But do you really think Russia has a right to start a war, carpet bomb a country, kill, rape and torture hundreds of thousands of innocent people just because Ukraine announced they wanted to be in a better position to be able to defend itself from an aggressive much more powerful neighbour?

And also remember that Ukraine willingly gave back all its nuclear weapons (the 3rd largest arsenal in the world at the time) on condition that Russia would not invade or threaten them. So maybe Russia weren't the only ones who made an error of judgement?

Russia wants to control all Ukraine sooner or later and it is just first step in their big game.

If Russia will control all Ukraine directly or via puppet .... they will get impressive negotiation power, easier will be able to tackle Hungary into some kind of Belarus No2 and negotiate with Turkey and Middle east countries and also with Iran and China....

Reasons are pure economics.

A. RUSSIA : 19%.
B. UKRAINE : 53,2%.

Ukraine + Russia together will be , vuala = 72,2% (!!!).

Look guys how profitable in long term financially is to deNazify Ukraine?
