Your wrong it’s only brought up now. Issues were brought up in the moment back then regarding Russell’s behavior. They simply just didn’t prompt any action against him.

Brand has been a big voice for the right for years. Not like this is some new role he just started. It may be true him ranting about the rich and powerful and Epstein types getting away with shit made media folks who know Russell and his past say “sounds like the pot calling the kettle black” why don’t we look into him for the same things he’s accused others of.

When it comes to a regular individual calling out a powerful individual or group for past mistreatment, it’s clearly going to be easier for them to speak up if they have journalists or lawyers putting in professional work to confirm details of your story and present to you other victims who shared your experience and are speaking out now too.

'Times' is very commonly short for 'The NY Times' in political discussions. And it has been reported on by The NY Times.

I saw the video put out by the reporters representing the accusers on Instagram, and Brand's video response denying the accusations.

The Times refers to the UK version, it predates the NY Times being known as that. I also don't know why you would bring up the NY Times in a story they didn't break.
