So the deviant Russle brand has finally been let go by his backers and is now being exposed (by the same people who turned a blind eye to it before) as a alleged rapist and child abuser (under US law, the age of consent is 16 in the UK). All allegations appear to have taken place at the time he was on Chanel 4 and various other British broadcasters payroll.

A documentary is about to drop with allegations about him. Rape? Underage girls? Who knows but honestly it wouldn’t be a surprise considering how open he has been with his deviancy in the past. What is a surprise is this coming out now. Not when he was at the height of his fame and being payed by the very same people who now will be reporting on incidents they probably already knew about at the time. He is a nobody now as far as I know. With the exception of a reasonable following of Americans online. Again this documentary hasn’t dropped so I’ll have to wait and see what the deal is, I’m certainly not prepared to discount the testimonies of victims of this cunt BUT I absolutely ask the question “why now”. Don’t want to be a “conspiracy theorist” but this statement by the Marx Engles Lenin institute kind of does ring true to a degree.

With regard to the Russell Brand allegations I offer no speculation either way as to his innocence or guilt. Brand has been a public figure for almost 20 years in Britain and for the last 13 years or so has been regarded as a "political" figure. When he adopted conventional ‘leftist’ beliefs and advocated voting for the labour party the BBC couldn't stop putting him on national television platforms, despite his very well advertised dubious behaviour in the past. As to why these allegations have come to light now, we would be foolish to ignore the fact that Brand has used his giant platform to have people like Kit Klarenberg and Max Blumenthal on as well as airing critical coverage of the Ukraine war. Given the history of the British state using these kind of allegations to destroy someone who strays too far from the "mainstream", the cases of Assange and Alex Salmond should be kept in mind here as Craig Murray recently discussed in his interview with Blumenthal. The report posted on the BBC confirm that the Sunday Times and Channel 4 went out digging into this recently and the allegations relate to the period when Brand was at his most mainstream from 2007-2013. Whether or not the allegations against Brand are true or not it is reasonable to draw the conclusion that the motivation for bringing these forward now is connected to the kind of news coverage he has been doing.

We now know that there will be rape allegations.
