How do you think the conservatives on this forum would've reacted, if the exact same accusations, down to the timing and everything came out against say Dylan Mulvaney? Be honest.

Asking for proof and examining serious accusations like this with a critical eye is not the same thing automatically siding with rapists and :eek::eek::eek::eek:s. What a ridiculous stretch.

"Asking for proof and examining serious accusations with a critical eye" is something that is mysteriously no-where to be found when it comes to accusing drag queens reading books to kids as being :eek::eek::eek::eek:philes / groomers. Hell, the judge ruled that Trump is guilty of rape, and the same "family values" warriors worship him as a god. Let's get real.

I first heard about amber heard johnny depp stuff when the trial was already on the way, through youtube shorts of humorous interactions between depp and heard's lawyer. At that point I didn't care who was right or wrong in the scenario.

Just like my point has nothing to do with whether Brand is guilty or not, but rather the hypocrisy of the right that claim to want to defend children, but in reality simply weaponizing the emotions to push anti-lgbt narrative... while immediately jumping to the defense of people like Andrew Tate and now Russell Brand.

Andrew Tate is obviously guilty based on his own words in his video. Russell Brand is not obviously anything yet. Stop conflating the two.

So the alledged misdeeds of this loquacious lothario have become a culture war shitshow.......what a surprise .
For what ever its worth I can well believe that this damaged transgressive addictive personality has done some very 'questionable' things .
Channel 4's part in this seems like corporate damage limitation in getting ahead of the story about behaviour they themselves have enabled , they probably hope it may act as a lightning rod diverting attention from other talent still on their roster (think Bake Off) .
 
He was apparently drugged out of his mind for much of his life so it wouldn't be too surprising.

I do wish that people would bring up such charges sooner rather than later, to leave less room for doubt. It just seems like an impossible task to sort out who did what 20 years later.

All physical evidence is gone, memories have faded, witnesses to the events are harder and harder to find. I can't imagine trying to pass judgement in such a case, if you're wrong you've either ruined somebody's life forever based on a false accusation, or you've let a rapist get away with a heinous crime.

More needs to be done to make people come forth as soon as possible.

It's a silly point from the get go. Fox being the most powerful cable corp and talk radio lol, as if that's meant to mean something when the world is being influenced way more by mobile and social media which are overwhelmingly libtard for years. Elon's takeover of Twitter/X doesn't change that
