I see where several different websites and people posting are saying Meishas first title defense should be against Ronda. This to me is absurd.

Regardless of her two wins over Tate, her several title defenses.....she still got DOMINATED by Holm.

I think rousey vs holm for the next title shot only makes sense.

Holm didn't hold the title for a long time and make several title defenses so she doesn't deserve an immediate rematch.

Tate can't beat Ronda. This has already been proven twice. It's going to be proven again. It's not even like Tate was one of those instant arm-bar losses either. She's been absolutely dominated in every area by Rousey, for every second of their fights. Miesha doesn't even have a round against her.

You think Ronda is mentally broken? Just wait until the hype for this fight starts up. You can't get inside someone's head, more than Ronda is in Miesha's. Miesha has been the bitter Bridesmaid in that relationship since Strikeforce. If it wasn't for Ronda, Miesha would probably be the one with the millions of dollars and movie deals.

I think so too. I suspect she was taking extra time training to develop skills to beat Holly. Now that it's Miesha she can just sharpen up her skills, do a camp, and get the belt back.

What don't you understand? Holm is the endgame for Rousey the belt just makes the fight more significant, if Rousey beats Holm then there's no need for her to fight Miesha for a 3rd time we all know how that goes down because we've already seen it twice.

Who said anything about retiring as champ? I can see her doing that if she beats Miesha 1st then retires with the belt because she doesn't want to fight Holly again.
