Yep. Holly messed up the rematch by being stubborn and not listening to Dana. Now she deserves to go back to square one and earn her shot at Rousey again.

Now that Holm has been beat and Meisha has the belt, Ronda and her neck beard groupies all the sudden have some newfound confidence they didn't have a few days ago.

Right, it isn't about proving, it's about taking back what is hers. Frankly, I was against a third Miesha fight from the first time they mentioned it. I'd much rather see Zingano or Nunes get into the picture.

Ronda only lost to Holm because she got reckless & tagged in the first, was out on her feet the whole fight.

So people can't improve and others can't get worse? Styles make fights and usually the wrestler beats the judako. As long as Tate avoids scrambles (judo is all about explosive subs in scramble situations) she's better on the ground and on the feet. She was clocking Ronda last time.

I am not a Ronda fan, but she got caught early due to being reckless. As you can see in the quote above. As such, Holm was a better fighter then her that night because she allowed her own ego to defeat her. Her main coach is a crappy boxing coach and she actually thought she could just bum rush a former boxing champion, land on her, and take her down in the first. She was wrong. I think in a rematch, she will be a lot more tentative. Holly will win a striking contest against Ronda 10 out of 10 times, but as for the better fighter, we will see if they rematch. If they do and Ronda loses, which I don't think she will, she will retire and you will have been right.

She's better on the feet? I've never seen Tate get a KO win or I've never seen Ronda get dropped by Sara McMann.

You've no basis to say Ronda has gotten worse, her style is just a better style match-up for Holly than Mieshas is.

None of them are good strikers, Ronda has submitted every opponent she's fought except Holm, Miesha has only subbed Holm.

Not trying to start beef but I think if Holm has to earn another title shot she'll have no problem doing it, she'll likely fight 2 or 3 times before Miesha even fights again. I love Holly but agree that it's hard to give her an immediate rematch.
