Except actually, she was out on her feet.
""I got hit in that first round. ... I cut my lip open and knocked a couple of my teeth loose. I was out on my feet from the very beginning."
"I wasn't thinking clearly. I had that huge cut in my mouth and I just spit [the blood] out at my feet. Then they brought the bucket over and I'm like, 'Why didn't I spit it in the bucket?' I never spit on the ground."
"It was like a dumbed-down dreamy version of yourself making decisions. ... I was just trying to shake myself out of it. I kept saying to myself, 'You're OK, keep fighting. You're OK, keep fighting.'""

I am not a Ronda fan, but she got caught early due to being reckless. As you can see in the quote above. As such, Holm was a better fighter then her
that night because she allowed her own ego to defeat her. Her main coach is a crappy boxing coach and she actually thought she could just bum rush a former boxing champion, land on her, and take her down in the first. She was wrong. I think in a rematch, she will be a lot more tentative. Holly will win a striking contest against Ronda 10 out of 10 times, but as for the better fighter, we will see if they rematch. If they do and Ronda loses, which I don't think she will, she will retire and you will have been right.
