Ben Rothwell simply thought he was the best. Gotta have that self confidence. People think delusion is always bad but it is not. Delusion saves more lives everyday than pessimistic reality.

If I'm not mistaken he was never booed, yeah Junior had more support but that's because he's a former champ and is around for a longer time, which naturally leads to more fans, while Ben is relatively unknown, especially to casuals.

I bet that at least 80% people in the crowds didn't even know there's ATT gym in Zagreb. Nobody cares about ATT or Brazil in Croatia, nor was Junior treated or hyped favorably, it was just that Junior had more fans from before, combined with his nice personality.
 
He screwed himself by accepting this fight. He would have been given a TS anyways. It was a dumb decision on his part.

people here dont understand that fighters have a belief in themselves that normal people consider arrogance. 99% of people need that or else you wont be at the top.
 
He should've just said he was inefficient with his energy.

The thing is, the fight already happened and this kimd of talk makes you beleive he has nothing to work on.

Basically here ben is saying if his other half(shadow?) showed up JDS not only loses but gets finished.

yes his mind needs that so he has a reason to train. basically train and make sure that version hes talking about shows up next time. me and you might believe that version doesnt exist but in the mind of rothwell he surely believes that it does and he has to. fighter mentality is pretty arrogant when it comes to how much they believe in themselves compared to regular people.
 
Just listened to this interview, what a whinger. Never liked Rothwell and this interview really hammered home a lot of the reasons why. He's delusional and a no class cry baby known past cheater. Imma go rewatch JDS outclass him for 25 minutes, right now, just for the lulz
