He bought into all that bullshit he was saying before the fight, JDS completely outclassed him and I stopped listening as soon as I heard the old "Everybody knows that's not my full potential" excuse, sorry Big Ben but ya fucked up and honestly I'm glad, Rothwell wouldn't stand a chance against Werdum whereas JDS has already KO'd him.

Well, he'd just submitted Barnett and once he gets hold of you on the ground, it's usually not going to end well. No reason not to be confident if he got a hold of Dos Santos and took it to the floor he could've finished it.

I thought Dos Santos fought a smart fight Boxing on the outside and not letting Rothwell get close to him - it wasn't a performance that screamed "give him an immediate title shot" but he got the win and can try build his own momentum from there. A lot of people were complaining about that fight - I'd like to see them suffer the blows to the Dos Santos did at the hands of Velasquez and fight the way he used to (though his body type might also play a factor)

Werdum is a lot different on the feet now compared to what he was when Dos Santos KO'd him. They've both evolved a bit since then. I don't think that KO means much now if they were to fight again. I think Werdum might be the aggressor on the feet if they were to fight. But who knows.

Aww that's disappointing. There is no shame in losing to JDS, a former Champ, top 5 at HW, and former P4P ranked opponent. I always supported Big Ben due to him being in the game for so long, and I always respect the old guns. He was also fun to watch and finished in various ways (subs and KO's).
