Social Roseanne tweets outrageously racist comment about former Obama staffer Valerie Jarrett

I am claiming I do not think she was. And she herself has not used that as an excuse (claims it was ambien).

Anywho, does not matter much, whats done is done, and she revealed what type of person she is, comedian or not.

In her initial apology she said it was a joke gone bad.

And yet she keeps retweeting all of these people defending her.... along with more Soros stuff lol

Has she actually managed to stay away from twitter or like anyone else that acts the cunt online was she actually back a couple of hours latter ? .

She's been retweeting people non stop lol. I guess she thinks that as long as the original tweet isn't hers she's quit

Nice of Joe Rogan to give that sack of trash a platform this Friday while the 500 cast and crew are left to wander in the wilderness.

It's not though, not with comedy. Comedy is literally special, and we need to treat comics like they are special. I'm fucking warning you guys, this is playing with your peril. You want equality, tell it to power, not to the subverters of power. I guess it's hard to get across how such an apparent hypocrisy is right. They aren't the king, they aren't the guard, they aren't the lord or the taxman- they're the jester.
See? See everyone?
I knew my :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: jokes were funny! I apologized! Even though I didn't say them in the context of a joke.

If your concern is bringing the jobs back, me thinks giving Roseanne a platform will have more impact that some random gaffer.

Yea it obviously was, why is that so hard to admit? even if it wasn't a joke what about her free speech ?
I certainly didn't read it as a joke. The old rule of thumb: if a joke has to be explained, it isn't funny.

As for free speech, she's free to speak, but speech has consequences. Fire in a crowded theater, racism on Twitter.

That is true about the joke, I guess if she would of taken a knee then the circumstances would be different.

But as I stated I lean right wing and I am glad she got called out.

What was it then? Was it the start of her PhD dissertation? Maybe she was writing a sonnet?
Fuck if I know. But from now on I'll just say whatever racist shit I want, and when people confront me I'll tell them about my freedom of speech and use your reasoning to try to walk around it.

I wouldn't recommend that. It hasn't been an effective strategy lately.

Hilarious. Glad she got hers.

She had a gravy train with that new show. It was popular, she had a team of writers pumping out pretty crappy material and people still liked it. It was almost too big to fail. Almost.

She is the perfect example of somebody who is not very smart and suddenly has access to internet memes and a Twitter account. She's been posting whacky stuff for years.

She very much strikes me as one of those people that always manages to destroy their success and happiness because they are so used to chaos they can''t go long before they self-sabotage. I'm sure we've all seen people like that who do the same in relationships.

I have never liked her, and don't understand why she is so respected as a comedian/comedic writer within the comedy community. I love people like Norm MacDonald and Bill Burr, and they praise they hell out of her.

I thought the original Rosanne, despite being a bit more "real", was the worst out of the major 90's family sitcoms. I can't remember a time I ever laughed at a stand up joke she made or a scene she was in, in film/TV
