The myth that Cryborg is a killer, ko artist is false. Look at her resume its terrible. Ronda's wins are faster, better, more brutal and against much MUCH better competition.

Maybe he means Cyborg will die trying to cut weight? Cyborg has a shot to win, but she has given Ronda a whole lot of time to improve and has lost all the negotiating leverage in the process. Maybe she is waiting for Ronda to lose so that it could be a catchweight non-title bout, that would be foolish but is possible.

- WMMA in general is very thin, the talent is scattered all throughout the three relevant weight classes (SW BW & FW). The founding division for WMMA in the UFC is BW so naturally theyve had more time to promote it. When Strikeforce was the only big Org promoting WMMA they promoted FW hence the weight class Ronda began at.

Not really. Lesnar, biggest PPV draw in UFC history, didn't want to cut to 265. He asked them to make a SHW division, they refused. He asked to fight catch, they refused. Why didn't the UFC do it, given that they actually wanted Lesnar to win? Because the UFC policy is not to allow any fighters to weigh in heavier than their upper limit.

For men that's 265, for women 135. Why do you think they're going to make an exception for Cyborg when they wouldn't make one for Lesnar?

It's true. Both women's bantamweight and women's featherweight are shallow divisions. However, women's feather weight is significantly more shallow than women's bantamweight. All of Rousey's defenses have been against worthy opponents except Bethe, who although undefeated, clearly wasn't ready for a title shot. Tate, Zingano, Davis, Kaufmann, McMann are all good wins. Cyborg's good wins are Coenen and Carano and most of the rest of her opponents were not solid opponents.

Rousey's resume is superior to Cyborg's, and to the extent it is true that she faces weak competition, it is doubly true for Cyborg.
