Ronda only eats 1 meal a day

someone add up the calories from this fitch video. for everyone saying these athletes need 3k+ calories a day i think you will be surprised.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPGFnGfsG-o

all of this food is extremely nutrient dense

also you need to realize that although fitch might not be eating a ton of calories compared to how hard he trains, hes fighting at 170lbs and its not easy for him to make that weight. his diet is designed to keep him close to 170

^ i understand that, but alot of people on here seem to think that all fighters eat 3-6k calories a day. and that they need that many calories.

fitch proves that they dont

I was skeptical of Dave Asprey's bp coffee claims. I probably spent an entire day (10 hours+) on google/scholar/and various forums to see if his claims are true. A lot of his claims are BS, and a marketing ploy.

Not the stuff about coconut oil and healthy fat, but the stuff about "good quality" coffee and mycotoxins

no dude. In parts of Asia it's sometimes a necessity because they can't get any meat but plenty of plants around. There's a reason why there are a lot of vegetable dishes on a Chinese restaurant menu.

You do know that there's a difference between veganism and vegetarianism, no? There's also a lot of dairy and fish on the Chinese menu....but again that's not vegan.

That's cause all you know is what you've heard from other nutritionists and books.

You don't know shit about the true benefits of veganism.

If humans are supposed to eat meat, why do we have to cook it and season it? Why can't we eat it raw?

Try thinking for yourself. It will change your life.

hella gay

Intermittent fasting is gaining traction for all sorts of reasons.

She probably drinks a ton of coffee to suppress her appetite and give her energy.

The Atkins diet gained the same hype and no one does it anymore. It worked though.

Why does no one do it anymore? Cuz people learned that it sucks. Why cant people learn enough ahead of these trends to know that theyll fail?

Fasting works. It has for years. But you wont do it for years. Rousey is full of shit. And cum.

well yes and no

im sure fitchs diet changes depending on how close he is to a fight. when hes 3 weeks out hes still getting enough nutrition to get through the workouts but his weight probably plays a bigger role in determining what he eats

this is right and wrong regarding atkins. people did it because it works. people dont do it now because someones improved upon it and branded it as something else or there are better alternatives

its kind of like anything else. its hard to find people raving about how good blackberry phones are right now also

Have any of you actually trained before? i'm an amateur muay thai fighter and after training and drinking all that water during and after that training, you do not feel hungry at all, i force myself to drink a protein shake and wait until dinner to finally eat. 1 meal a day at lower weight classes is common in muay thai and i'm sure it is in mma as well, you just do not feel hungry.

welcome to sherdog

haha thanks i've creeped on the forums for along time and decided to make an account finally

I eat only one meal a day also, not by choice, but because I can't really afford more then that.
I am 27, 5'11 208 pounds.

I have been doing this for about 5 months. Believe it or not, I feel better physically now than I have in a long time.

I am spot checking. Before Atkins it was something else.

Diet and exercise is best. Everyone knows it and hardly any of them want to do it. The simplest path? Seek out an easy fix. Whats easier than not eating than once a day?

dude, spare me the definitions. I have lived in these parts for years. Dairy is a luxury in these parts. Lots of poor people can't afford fish. You can go on for years just eating rice and some boiled vegetables. That's it. I have. They're pretty healthy, can do manual labor all day.

Teaching history isn't a necessary occupation anymore though. With the internet, people are more apt to study history on their own as part of their leisure activities, and have access to many more sides/points of view on historical events than they would get from a lecture, including finding first hand uncensored accounts of events which you just don't find in textbooks.

History is a difficult subject it's not just remembering facts. You have primary and secondary documents to source from, a myriad of citations ,and proper Turabian (or other format). Education is slightly easier but the field work in teaching is enough to make you lose your mind with the regulations and curriculum standards. If the original poster took a double major in history and education that's kinda silly if they want to be a history teacher. You can get a B.S.E. in the Social Sciences (i know cause i have one), which allows you to teach, History, psychology, Sociology, civics, current events, etc. Learning on your own is great but understanding how to write a proper paper, how to interpret sources, a teacher is necessary, or we would have people walking around spewing what they read on Wikipedia as truth about history. No good teacher uses only textbook material, lay off us history/social science/education majors it's more difficult than you think.
