Yeah, fuck facts and science. Let's read websites with people trying to sell us things instead.
The science, AS YOU KNOW IT, is incomplete. And inaccurate in many ways.
Sorry.

Lol, a bunch of jealous bitches on this forum as you can see. I went through 2 more pages after your post and 5 people negatively commented about your degrees.
Agreed. Doesn't Hershel also claim his one meal is a bowl of soup? It's crazy. That guy needs like 3000++ cals per day.
He claimed he would sometimes just eat a salad or soup but he also has been diagnosed with a mental disorder. It might have been multiple personality related and could explain why he doesn't remember eating. Maybe one Herschel is vegan and the other feasts on livestock at night.
Really? Go for it. Get naked, and go after a wild dirty pig full of parasites with YOUR BARE HANDS.
Jump on it. Bite into it, and kill it by yourself. No fire to cook it. You were obviously made to eat meat, so you have no problem killing it with your sharp ass teeth, right?
LOL no disrespect, but don't mess with da knowledge I got, playa
That's cause all you know is what you've heard from other nutritionists and books.
You don't know shit about the true benefits of veganism.
If humans are supposed to eat meat, why do we have to cook it and season it? Why can't we eat it raw?
Try thinking for yourself. It will change your life.
Olympians don't eat what "normal" people view as "clean" food. Due to their enormous calorie needs they can't eat nutrient dense low calorie food. A long distance skiier for instance might eat up to 10 000 calories per day, you can't do that with "clean" food (which is a myth anyway), eating stuff like pizza or other junk food will actually be beneficial for them.
So what's your sources? That's cause all you know is what you've heard from other nutritionists and books.
How did your know sources aquire their knowledge? In what way is that superior to the scientific method? The science, AS YOU KNOW IT, is incomplete. And inaccurate in many ways.

somewhere between 0 and 3% calories consumed come from termites and caterpillars because sometimes they are on the plants they eat. In captivity their food includes 0% animal products. pick a nit sometime.

Veganism is a luxury only realistic in a society of excess.
i drink my own version of aspreys bulletproof coffee instead of breakfast and its greatA few things:
1.I know Dave Asprey talked about how you can adjust your body to eating one meal a day (but he also drinks coffee with butter and oils in it as well)
but that's for normal people, doing normal things. ATHLETES are a completely different story. People who work out as hard as they do have to have certain amounts of fuel.
2.I know this is "bro science" because I'm not an actual scientists or anything but from everything I've learned (and can remember) I seem to recall that we humans can only process so much food/water at one time.
So to all the people showing pictures of huge spreads of food, I say to you that even if you could eat all of that stuff in one sitting, even if your metabolism were at the peak of human possibilities, you still wouldn't be able to process more than 1/3 of what you ate, if you're lucky. Maybe not even that much.
We just can't process that much at once. So if you drink a gallon of water at one time, you're going to be pissing most of it out in a few minutes.
This is part of the reason people say supplements are better than the food from which you'd get the stuff naturally... cause you're body can only squeeze out so much from that food, while it can absorb the majority of what's in the pill.
Last not but not least.. my main thought on this is just I don't know why they'd lie.. what do they have to gain by lying? So I guess it's possible that they do what they say they do, but I'd love to know more details because as I mentioned above, I don't think 1 meal could be enough energy for a hardworking athlete, not even if they ate a fridge worth of food in one sitting.
PS: In regards to #2... think of it this way, for those of you who smoke weed. What has a better chance of keeping you high all day? Smoking 10 hits in the morning? Or smoking 2 hits 5 different times throughout the day... if you smoke 10 hits in the morning, you might get high as fuck, but your body can only take so much at once, so toward the evening, if not before, you'd already start coming down.
