Ronda only eats 1 meal a day

Intermittent fasting is garbage.

I'm not saying it's not possible, just that eating 1 meal of 2000 calories is not the same as eating 10 meals adding up to 2000 calories.

Actually, it is. There are differences, but they're not very important.

Nice broscience, but no. Body will store energy as fat if you're on a long term energy surplus, meal requency is largely irrelevant in the scope of things.

Nobody needs protein shakes, athletes or not. You can get that protein from food and it will in most cases be just as good if not better. After training you only need 10 grams of essential amino acids to stimulate musle protein synthesis maximally.

Lots of strength athletes do it. If you're fulfilling your macro- and micronutrient needs it can do just as fine, again, meal frequency is largely irrelevant.

just read this, and don't post on this topic anymore House

uhh, what.

2000 cals is 2000 cals.

Sure, but the way your body stores and uses those calories is not the same. I'm not talking about the numerical intake, I'm talking about the effect several meals per day has over eating just once per day.

the caloric difference is so minuscule its irrelevant.

i probably over reacted in my response. im sorry. im just tired of telling people how i eat usually only once a day MAX twice and they get all freaked out "THATS NOT GOOD FOR YOU BRO" "GOTTA KEEP THAT METABOLISM GOING BRO"

i blame Oprah.

I ate once a day for years, now I eat about 2-3 a day, and feel cranky & hungry all the time. So yeah whatever works for you, and whatever she's doing seems to work pretty good.

just personal experience, but when I was eating one big dinner a day and drinking coffee in the morning, my body looked exactly the same as before and after. I did not gain fat nor lose muscles. I was still able to workout at night before the big meal.

Like I said, the only problem was stomach related.

If you're snacking lightly 5-6 times a day, all you need is one regular sized meal.

Forcing your body to constantly digest food is a good way to keep your metabolism up.

I call not-bullshit on both claims.

Also, LOLs at people that don't know this already but comment on it.

Who knew there were so many nutrition experts? I'm gonna quit studying the literature and watching clinical trials and just come read Sherdog. You guys pwn.

I called bullshit mostly because of the actual volume of food you'd have to eat to get 2000 calories in one meal. I can eat a lot of food in one sitting, but eating 2000 calories in one meal? Plus if you're an athlete, you're not going to be eating a bunch of lard. It'd probably be more than 2000 calories a day for someone like Ronda, she was training to be an Olympian.

Eating smaller meals throughout the day works better for me than just 1 or 2 huge meals, but that's just me.

Most people seemed a tad offended by Ronda's claim of only one meal a day....I believe her.

***Most Interwebbers eat 10 meals a day.

I put in an average of 1 to 3 hours of studying for my midterms or finals. Overstudying is bad. The secret is in UNDERSTANDING... what the fuck is going on.

4.0GPA in Education/History 2 majors

Lol, a bunch of jealous bitches on this forum as you can see. I went through 2 more pages after your post and 5 people negatively commented about your degrees.
