You forget the fact that when Conor is at 170 LBS he will also have a lot more power. Plus his accuracy alone is scary. I believe that he would also be much faster than Lawler.
Lawler also gets hit a lot more than Conor so that is another factor why i think that Conor would dominate

Thank you. 170 lbs Conor is exactly why the argument that "heavier" Nate Diaz at 170 should have made no difference in his chin. Conor had the extra mass that should have transitioned over to negate Nate's so-much-extra weight. But it still wasn't enough. Diaz has a chin, and I'm here to tell you so does Lawler.

Well I don't think Lawler takes punches as well as Nate or boxes as well. I think if Robbie got hit with what Nate got hit with, he'd be unconscious. I also think that about most mma fighters ww and under. In ww, Condit and Rory have chins enough to take Conor's strongest punches, probably. But I don't think Hendrix or Lawler could take many of those and remain standing.

Nate can take a hell of a punch. Period. You can't generalize from that to other fighters who get rocked regularly!

I don't think this proves anything except that any lw or ww fighter who can take 10 left hands from Conor and still be conscious and coherent can probably beat him. I don't know that either Lawler or Hendrix would be in that group, mind you.

Are you serious? Mcgregor's biggest flaw other than the no-ground game, is the fact that he moves straight back when defending. This plays right into Lawler's game. Conor never had that one punch good night power, the only guy he dropped like that was Aldo, and Aldo jumped right into that punch. McGregor has pop in that left hand, but he is no Henderson. Lawler walks through McGregor's non existent jab, and cracks him as McGregor backs straight up. Look at the way McGregor kept backing straight up and allowed Nate to continue to tag him. Nate is not know for having great footwork, and he barely cuts the distance that well. McGregor is a great fighter, but his place is at 155 and below. He has no business moving up to the animals in the MW and up.

Conor doesn't match up well against anyone in the 170lb division.
A no-camp Diaz "fresh off the beach in Cabo" dismantled him in 2 rounds.

He wouldn't have a chance in hell against Robbie, or any of those murderers you listed.

Conor cleans house at 145, at 155 he's winning 5/10 fights, at 170 he's not breaking into the top 10.
I think he matches up pretty good against RDA. But he's gonna have to face a full camp, 100% confident 155lb Diaz, and well... Yeah.

A better chance against robbie then any other contender at 170 yes. If you read my three post you would see I agree that his chances are basically zero.

Only reason I think he fares better against robbie is stylistically he will stand and trade and could be ko'd. Who does Conor match up better against that could possibly hold the belt? If you cant answer that, you are arguing with the wall.

Wow just wow. Lawler has been KO'd once early on in his career and has fought at 185 going toe to toe with massive power punchers like Melvin Manhoef he would walk through anything Conor threw and destroy him.
