“I’m thinking about wrapping it up around 36. That’s what? Two and a half years, so I feel like 36 is a good age to like really have a solid crack at something else.
Whatever that is I want to do, you know? I do all the normal things, save more than I spend, look to buy land and investment properties whenever I can afford it.
I’m looking to push my dreams ahead. I’m not really moving into anything I need to dedicate too much focus towards, because I do believe that everything you do
that isn’t fighting takes away a little bit of that mental mind space you have, and you don’t have a lot of this.”

"That's why I accepted Chimaev now, I want to fight by the end of the year. If they give me a title fight next, I would be happy. If the fight with Dricus and Adesanya
were to happen and then they say, ‘Hey, wait until next year and you can fight for the title' I’d wait. What’s an extra couple months, right? It’s a title fight!"

Rob bless. Will support him no matter what win or lose.
A very classy and humble fighter and true representative of the sport.
One of my friends got the lucky chance to meet and take a photo of him holding his belt and he had nothing but good things to say about Rob

Bobby is pure class. I always thought this would be his last serious run, him accepting the Chimaev fight again signifying as much, with him clarifying here. Whether he wins the belt again or doesn't, I'm going to appreciate him as a personality and a fighter before he retires. One of the better guys in the sport, Bobby has a had great career.

Was never much of a finisher at 185, but at least he kept Yoel from holding the title. Props to Bobby for that

He’s like the Poirier of middleweight, but was actually undisputed champ.

Whittaker and Holloway are some of the last fighters I'm personally attached to that are still fighting. They both had very similar careers and are at similar stages now. And to be honest? I think both have reasonable chances to win the belt one last time. If Rob beats Khamzat it'll be huge and I think he has the ability to do it so long as he doesn't get chinned bad on multiple occasions and rocked and finished. He has the defensive wrestling, physicality, size, cardio and superior striking here. I also don't hate his chances vs Dricus in a rematch but think he's gonna have a tough time vs Izzy.

Skipped around in the interview...

DAMN, he says he's 220lbs right now!

If he gets that belt (again) he will want to stick around for that ppv Cash

But yeah it's a young mans game and Robert is pretty smart

hes a bum, he was sponsored by fallout 76 and said it was a good game. he has a chin that creates amazing moments, khamzat will land short 1000 degree knife right hand

Rob is just gonna return to what he was doing before this MMA stuff... hardcore masturbating.

I hope he follows what he says. If you made enough money and you proven yourself more than enough in this sport. There is no need to prolong it to your 40s. But to each their own.

I think his goal is to win the title again and if he does probably a defense or two, but I just don't see it happening. Bad matchups against both Izzu and Dricus IMO.
