Yes it does because the lawsuit is NOT about the fact that they did porn. The lawsuit is about the fact that they were conned into believing the porn was in DVD format only, encrypted and impossible to duplicate, and being made for a singular wealthy man in Australia who had signed a non disclosure contract.

This on top of being lied to about the amount of money they would receive, being given drugs and alcohol before signing the contract , being bullied, rushed and intentionally distracted while reading the contract, and being threatened with financial penalties when many of them did not want to go through with it and being intimidated also.

Yeah I never said that's right to do and I'm glad they lost. However that doesn't also absolve the women of all blame.

Yes it does, because they are not complaining about the porn part....... which is not illegal or anything.....

Unless you believe that a con man car salesman that scams people by turning back the odometer has the right to blame the customer for wanting to buy a car........

I've already said what they did was wrong. I'm glad they're getting shut down. They are utter scumbags.

However, the takeaway shouldn't just be that these horrible men mistreated these poor young girls. A cursory google search or contacting their parents or a lawyer could have avoided all of this as well.

Then when you dig deeper to research the origin of porn industries, normalizing it in the western world and why the major producers seems to come from the same backround makes you feel sick to the stomach.

I've read articles about these predatory porn websites on Vice & Rolling Stone & those who operate them. They prey on broke, vulnerable young women & use every trick in the book to get them back to a motel room or a rented studio. Then, the pressure really begins. It's a shitty practice & all those like them need to be shut down IMO.
Are these girls stupid for going back to these places with strange men & for eventually performing in these videos? Of course, they are. But, the circumstances under which they're filmed often border on date rape.

A Google search for what? Contacting their parents? Do you think these girls mostly came from good homes where they could expect helpful, supportive feedback?

The takeaway to anyone who isn't a scumbag is that horrible men took advantage of dumb, most likely damaged, young girls.
