P.S. Empathy is a sign of intelligence and a fully working brain, not femininity.

18 month olds and psychopaths don't have empathy.

Who are the people who make comments about empathy being a weakness? Elon Musk, who chickens out of fights with Mark Zuckerberg.
Narcissistic or socio/psychopathic empathy is a thing as well, btw. Its more of a cognitive empathy, which is useful for manipulation and other exploitative tactics.

That’s not even empathy. It’s just what suckers with no backbone tell themselves to feel good about their pathetic asses. They let people walk all over them growing up and now are losers as adults and rage out over anything and everything, then wanna lecture “the right” about empathy.

jesus christ. sometimes I am naive enough to think that the gratuitous cruelty was a feature ushered in by Trump and unique to him.

It's not

And it doesn't know political affiliation either.

It's a human trait a lot of motherfuckers have and the rest of us suffer for.

There hasn't been an organically masculine American political figure since Teddy Roosevelt.

The full-time pundits are expected to be betas. That's why they water cooler it instead of engaging it.

The duopoly has been reduced to arguing which side's pundits are more feminine. lol

Milo was at one point one of the most prominent right wing personalities so….
At the very beginning of his career he was actually pretty awesome.

Then he leaned into the provocateur "look at me I'm gay." Shtick a bit too much.

Wasn't he ultimately cancelled because he was fully in favor of adults having sexual relationships with kids because it kept them "safe"?

Not sure how someone like that can be awesome at the beginning of his career, unless you're saying he kept those views of his hidden then so he seemed awesome but in hindsight yikes?

Like, it wasn't a shtick taken too far that caused him to fall off in his popularity if I'm remembering right.

As I understand it, he was downplaying an instance where he himself was the victim of an abusive relationship on a Joe Rogan podcast and then later, when asked to clarify on the drunken peasants podcast, which was the amazing atheists new group format podcast, he mentioned basically what you're saying here to explain what happened and why he was okay with it but he wasn't being serious in advocating adults having relationships with children. His explanation was that he was using sarcasm and humor to cope.

Which, if you've seen any of his material around that time, you would know is probably more true than anything. He would say pretty much anything to get a rise out of people.

But make no mistake, he himself was the actual victim in an abusive relationship.

I'm remembering vaguely because any exposure I had to Milo was only through Sherdog, but I do recall that he was a victim and Rogan kept trying to give him an out but Milo just kept saying it was great for him and great for others especially young gay boys and there's nothing wrong with it and others should try it and not be so taboo.

Guy just kept doubling down and not grabbing the life raft until Rogan couldn't take it anymore.

Yea thats how it played out.

It caused me and my wife to have a discussion at the dinner table about are you allowed to enjoy your molestation/rape and or not be traumatized by it

Yeah, he's an idiot and quickly devolved from his 15 minutes of fame getting to his head, but in the very beginning he was a very well put together, articulate, well dressed and probably could have done some good for the right. Needless to say, that wasn't quite the reality later on.

Here he was at the beginning, even if you disagree with his talking points, he was an effective communicator:

Maybe the Romans were on to something

@EL CORINTHIAN

I was kind of shocked by what he was saying and couldn't believe he said it and thought are you allowed to say that / feel that way

It was in no way shape or form about if it should be alright to molest kids and just about milo.

Just to be clear.
