I have to see the contract they signed to make an informed decision. The allegation that they were lured there under false pretense is irrelevant IMO, because they still decided to go along with it even after learning what would be required of them.

I think the point is not that they are laughing at women who got doxed, manipulated and lied to. I think they are laughing at individuals who have lied and manipulated, to now get lied to and manipulated themselves, at least the ones that were cheating. Kind of the Karma's a Bitch vids, which are pretty popular on YT.

Also, I think it's a push back on the general tendency to give women all the slack and ignore the responsibility they might have had in the whole ordeal. It's the whole pussy on a pedestal thing most people only name when guys are trying to score, but won't name when it's actually about sharing blame/responsibility in precarious situations. Which is sexist and hypocritical when done by the same people.

If a sleazy guy gets duped, no one will pity him. If a sleazy woman gets duped, enough people will stand up for her. It's just putting the pussy on a pedestal even if you're not trying to bang said pussy.

I don't think that is what is going on at all in the court case. The product in this case is porn, but replace it with any other product. You have a business that makes an oral contract with several providers of the product stating one thing. This oral agreement can be corroborated by prior employees as well as emails. In fact, those show further level of deceit. The compensation is negotiated off of this oral agreement. The actual contract is quite different, and it's very evident the product would produce much more revenue based on this agreement. Furthermore, it gets the product overexposed. Any business would be fucked in this instance and subject to litigation + fines.

I will give you that it does get a little more complicated with the human aspect. The emotional damages and other damages from being outed like that. It does complicate things, but these guys were fucked even without that. The real irony of this case is that they probably thought nothing would ever come of it since these girls didn't want doxed. Well the doxing happened, so they had nothing to lose. The court case probably wouldn't have been brought up if the girls weren't so exposed - and this is something GDP thrived on.
