Is lying to everyone you know, including a potential boyfriend or spouse, completely harmless? I don't think it is. Morals are obviously subjective. Many people find fucking for money immoral. Add in cheating and lying to a partner and I think just about everyone would agree that's immoral.

And it's obviously not a 100% exact comparison, but yeah I've lived in utter poverty and had chances to do immoral or illegal things to get out of those situations but I didn't. I decided I'd rather suffer and maybe even die than sacrifice all my moral values for a buck.

Combing every single job opportunity in a 4 city area on foot and on the bus because I couldn't afford a car. Pawning damn near everything I owned to keep the lights on. Digging out tree stumps on a friends property for money for food.
