Good call, but wasn't he killed by the Rastafarian? Maybe the town needs Seagal. He could join forces with the black sheriff who's already gained the confidence of the mob.
 
Is this even still a thread now, after they just announced they have this kid on 3 video cameras strong arm robbing a store, plus two witnesses who say they saw him, plus his own accomplice saying they did it, minutes before he encountered the police officer?

Look at the size of that kid, too. That doesn't jive with the people who were saying the officer used one arm to pull the kid into his car, which is something a cop would never do anyway...kid jumped the cop because he thought the cop was going to arrest him for the robbery, cop was caught off guard because he didn't know about the robbery, kid pushes cop into car, goes for gun...gets shot. Amirite?

Cop was just coming off responding to a call to help a sick child, Brown was coming from robbing a store and roughing someone up. Who you gonna believe?

Pan told me that the black community is doing all they can to police their own neighborhood and bring the inner city violence to light on a national level. So...you just truncate everything to fit and support the views you already had before any of this even started, or something like that?

BTW, I think when you rob a store, going in you are accepting the risk that you might get shot and killed by the store owner or police. You accept that risk because you think the potential reward of stolen money or goods makes it worth it. So...you know, how can you complain when the chickens come home to roost?

lol, brown is dead brah, he doesn't have a story to tell.

personally i believe the witnesses, all of whom say he had his hands up. that's my only issue. brown was a jerk obviously. but you can't shoot someone who has stopped running and has his hands up. that's not how it works.

Can we agree that Mike Brown is no innocent gentle giant and that the police do tend to act like dicks and protect their own?

Mike Brown probably did sock the cop in the face because he thought he was going down for a robbery and the cop probably could have arrested him after shooting him without unloading more bullets.

Maybe they both fucked up and maybe the cop feels bad and maybe he is texting his buddies about how hilarious it all is. We don't know and yet most want to blindly blame the police or blindly blame Brown.

Whether the killing was justified or not is hardly the main thing in the story anymore.

This is as much or more about the communities reaction to the killing, and the cop's reaction to the community. Whether the kid robbed the store or not matters little to either of those things.
