International Riot in Sweden.

Where did these laws come from? They were made when people were pissed off

I dont think you realise society is set up in a way where people dont get pissed off because if they do that is when revolutions happen

Most laws are made from trial and error lol

Most of modern civilisation is birthed off the back off riots
These laws were made because a majority, and in certain cases over 66.7% of the people agreed upon them.
Not because a minority got stepped on it's toes and decided they get their way or they'll resort to violence

I just don't see any reason why not. I can burn my boxers, too.
No one cares about your boxers dude.

Some people's life is guided by their religion. Why would any good society want to upset specific parts of their communities? Having a book burning party just solely to provoke a specific minority seems like a step backwards.

Well, Im not saying you should burn any book, Im saying why even get upset about it and try to force that on other people.

It's a book, the stuff inside should be carried in your heart if you truly believe and not by some paper with glue.

Why should I respect other peoples believe, if they don't do the same?! Why don't they say its ok? They will behead some poor teacher for this crap if unlucky, slap or spit at you like 4 year olds. And these are exactly the reasons why they get some hate. Just like vegans. Noone cares about their believes, they care about parts of their group being nuisances and drama-queens.

Not only are they burning the book to provoke a specific reaction. They also do it in the places where they can get the worst reactions with it. It is basically like arranging a a KKK crossburning in the blackest-neighborhood in Detroit. They WANT the riots!
Every one of his koran-burning events that is stopped by a riot is a win for this Danish a*hole abusing the swedish constitutional right to rally in public places.

Not that I think the bulk of the rioters (a few extremists aside) cares about the koran much. They do not need a reason, just an excuse and the anonymity of a crowd. The islamic Imams are trying to prevent the riots -if only because of the bad PR and the stupidity of rioting in their own neighborhoods. Even the gangs are against it -they prefer the streets calm and empty of cops to do their daily business.
Do you have a source for the bolded line? That'd be quite interesting to me but makes sense.

<TrumpWrong1>

Let’s take the US as an example.. the declaration of indepence and constitution were products of wars, revolutions and rebellions

But not busy integrating nor following the law there. Kinda something you shouldn’t do as a guest in another country
Them living there negates them being guests doesn’t it

Dont know but he has dual citizenship and his dad is Swedish

Sexually charged chats with underage boysEdit
In August 2021 it was revealed through an investigation by Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet[24]that Rasmus Paludan through his Discord server had been talking about hardcore fetish sex with minors ranging in age from 13 to 17. Paludan did not deny the claims, but denied any wrongdoings, stating that he did not know how old the people he was talking to were and that the boys or the moderators in the chat would have stopped him if he had overstepped any boundaries.[25]

well this should ruffle some feathers here <GinJuice>

He is actually a Swedish citizen
and media refers to him as Danish/Swedish
Born, raised and resident in Denmark. Head of the Danish extreme rightwing party Stram kurs.
But his father was swedish, so by swedish law he can apply for swedish citizenship too. Apparently he has done this early 2020 after he was banned from entry into sweden. He was was granted swedish citizenship due to his father and by law he cannot then be banned entry into sweden for any reason. I think he will lose his citizenship again if he does not live in sweden for a set time inside a few years , though.

Poland once removed the above picture from its national gallery (it was later put back after protests). I have seen similar stuff happen at art museums in so-called secular countries, too. Blasphemous art should be allowed anywhere, no matter the religion. Burning of texts should be protected. That said, it’s all a bit boring (the art and the burning). And I understand people getting upset. The guy in question is a creepy old dude, as @So Fresh has posted, and he should be ignored.

Not for this particular riot, but I could get you a few examples from previous ones (same areas, same Danish a*hole) from a few years ago if you dont mind swedish language.

You are changing your argument now

You said it isnt illegal for people to piss you off then i showed you examples proving otherwise

Now you have fallen back on majority of people are not pissed off which is totally different

Muslim neighborhoods in Sweden. Think about that. They planted their flag and now the normal rules of Swedish society no longer matter there. Sounds like a neccesity to burn garbage there.

The KKK and blackest neighborhood bit aren't really on point, are they? These people showed up of their own free will and Islam isn't a race. So let's not try to muddy the waters.

Yeah it seems like you have a little problem understanding how laws work.
Pissing someone off isn't illegal
If i burn someone's car, that'll piss him off and it's illegal.
It isn't illegal because it pisses him off.
It's illegal because we as a (majority of a) country decided burning someone elses car is a shitty thing to do so we made a law against it.
I hope this clarifies it a bit for you

Did you decide the law or was it already decided before you were born? You seem to misunderstand how laws even came into existence

Blasting music loud at night pisses some people off but others love it yet its still illegal

“Three police officers have been taken to hospital after a riot broke out in a Swedish town where a demonstration that included a Qur’an burning was planned.

Footage from the scene in the city of Linkoping on Sweden’s east coast showed a car burning and dozens of masked people attacking police cars.

“The riot started before a planned demonstration by anti-Muslim Danish politician Rasmus Paludan and his party Stram Kurs (Hard Line) that was meant to include a burning of the Muslim holy book, the Qur’an.”

Was this thread merged or something? The incident in the OP happened in 2020 and this post was made today. This seems kind of dumb as it's two separate incidents that happened two years apart.
