Was this thread merged or something? The incident in the OP happened in 2020 and this post was made today. This seems kind of dumb as it's two separate incidents that happened two years apart.

Not merged, man. It’s all on me. I decided to bump this thread because it was about the same group of guys.

Did you decide the law or was it already decided before you were born? You seem to misunderstand how laws even came into existence

Blasting music loud at night pisses some people off but others love it yet its still illegal

Generations before me created, adapted and/or removed most of the laws before i was born through democratic process
But yeah there have been alot of new laws signed that I voted on (through representative democracy, so perhaps not directly)
point beeing, just because you and a small group think something should be illegal does not make it so, and resorting to violence/rioting doesn't (or shouldn't) help your cause

Muslim neighborhoods in Sweden. Think about that. They planted their flag and now the normal rules of Swedish society no longer matter there. Sounds like a neccesity to burn garbage there.

The KKK and blackest neighborhood bit aren't really on point, are they? These people showed up of their own free will and Islam isn't a race. So let's not try to muddy the waters.

Im not saying they are right to riot. They are most definitely not.
Im saying that if you walk into a dark alley waving a wad of cash over your head in a really bad neighborhood -it is not entirely unexpected to be robbed.
The guy is actively TRYING to cause riots!

As for the KKK equivalent, I think it is fairly apt as an comparison for our US friends.

And my point is that it's nuts how one of the most secular areas the world has ever seen is now prone to rioting because of some putz burning a book.

Yeah, you'd see a similar reaction if you burned the bible in a village outside of Warsaw. But Sweden isn't Poland, nevermind some Middle Eastern shit hole.

Find your emotional trigger and attack? You can do so much within the legal framework that is immoral and would make most people crack but everyone isnt an asshole

Heck i bet i could yell abuse at you for a few hours and you would give up

Most people just lead easy lives and never face these situations

That's not unique to Muslims, loads of minorities congregate in certain neighborhoods and change the character to their liking. There are many Jewish neighborhoods in the US, specifically in major urban centers on the Eastern seaboard. Any cosmopolitan society will have minority neighborhoods in its big cities.

Anyway, you could just as easily replace "KKK" and "black neighborhood" with Nazis in a Jewish neighborhood. That actually did happen and its a famous case that put the ACLU on the map as they successfully argued that Nazis have a right to demonstrate just the same as anyone else, even in a Jewish neighborhood with Holocaust survivors living there. The Nazis even expressely justified it on free speech grounds. Unsurprisingly the residents were not happy. No riots but that's not unrelated to the presence of 1,000 Chicago police officers.

Of course I doubt that would fly in Europe.

Living somewhere doesn’t make you a part of the society by default. It takes active participation to be part of society. Being a drain and taking part in criminal activities means you are rejecting your host country. Also not speaking the language would be a major argument against them being anything more than guests

I remember on 06 or so arguing with a euro guy here. At that time the EU zone had more people that the USA and a slightly larger Econ. I feel the EU was really a way of papering over all the problems in drills rather than fixing them. Econ, demographics etc are all a problem and have never been addressed

Nobody was talking about being part of society. You said they were guests, they aren’t. They live there, probably have citizenship which makes them not guests

you assuming they don’t speak the language doesn’t change anything about their status.
