I dont get why he can't give Spence his props. Its beyond childish & silly.lol yet he’s a far better win than anyone on Crawfords list!

He is an A level fighter. AJ was the second best heavyweight in the world when Usyk beat him and previously was rated #1. His resume at heavyweight is deeper than the rest. The Ruiz loss was embarrassing but this is heavyweight and it was immediately avenged. The two previous heavyweight kings, Wlad and Lewis, also got stopped/KO'd by fighters that had absolutely no business doing that to them. Didn't they? And guess what? Lewis is still the best heavyweight of the last 30 years and Wlad was just inducted as a first ballot hall of famer. As for Crawford's domination it's a lot easier to dominate lesser opposition. I like his wins over Porter and Postol, the latter of which was recorded forever ago, but let's not get carried away. Neither is a signature win.

No. That's not accurate. All you have to do is check the ratings at that time if you're really this clueless. Fury was the #1 rated heavyweight across the board and AJ was the clear #2 heavyweight going into his fight with Usyk. AJ was then a three-belt unified champ who had immediately avenged his loss to Ruiz and then knocked out a contender in Pulev while Wilder and Ruiz had both recently lost. Wilder was stopped by Fury and Ruiz got badly outboxed by AJ in their rematch.Fury --> Wilder --> Ruiz Jr -->
AJ/Usyk BEFORE their fight
Now its Fury and Usyk
AJ fought Usyk on September 25th of last year. Let's take a look at the major independent rankings in the heavyweight division for that month. Just in case you prefer a particular source we'll check them all to see what AJ was rated heading into his fight with Usyk. Clearly you don't follow the sport very closely (or you have something against Usyk?).Fury --> Wilder --> Ruiz Jr -->

Except Fury retired. He made the announcement himself and then reiterated it multiple times (even if many of us don't actually believe it). If he's just bluffing then that's on him. He hasn't vacated his title yet but when a fighter "retires" they should be removed from the rankings altogether. Not that it matters much considering he wouldn't have been rated P4P #1 anyway. Not by any credible source. His resume is too thin and he's a career heavyweight. The last career heavyweight that was rated P4P king (by Ring Magazine) was Mike Tyson back in 1989. That was 33 years ago. While Usyk is a heavyweight currently rated P4P king he's not a career heavyweight like Mike was.Joke of a list when the best P4P fighter doesn’t even make the top ten. Tyson Fury is the No.1 fighter right now.
Joke of a list when the best P4P fighter doesn’t even make the top ten. Kubrat Pulev is the No.1 fighter right now.

Im telling you Mayweather ruined boxing fans/writers perception. Theyd rather have 0s on the record now than quality wins across multiple weights. Select few fighters are willing to dare to be great now.Canelo drops to 6 ? What a load of shit.
For p4p…..? You spelled Usyk wrong.Joke of a list when the best P4P fighter doesn’t even make the top ten. Tyson Fury is the No.1 fighter right now.
No grudge match? They fought back-to-back. You expected them to do it again three times consecutively? That's not even realistic. Jaba the Hutt got his socks boxed off and AJ moved on. Nothing unusual about that. They're currently 1-1. Ruiz has the more dominant win but AJ's is more recent. AJ would've been favored to win the third fight but nice try. Ruiz had no answers for his box & move strategy. He got schooled in the rematch. What you personally rated the guy is irrelevant. The independent rankings and who the general public view as the #1 & #2 heavyweights is all that matters. Of course I'm right. I have Crawford #3 at this time but if some people have him rated higher then that's fine. I just know that these boxing publications, like Ring Magazine, share the same opinion on Crawford's resume. He still has work to do but at present there is no clear P4P king. There's no consensus right now.The fact there was no grudge match for Ruiz tells me everything I needed to know. AJ boxed and moved and lost every exchange when they infrequently happened. AJ likely wouldve lost a 3rd Ruiz fight. Personally, I rated Ruiz ahead of AJ.
Youre right though. Technically AJ was #2 although I dont personally agree. Wouldve had Wilder #2. But good win for Usyk

AJ would be favored in a third fight. Ruiz had no answer for being boxed up and it was practically a shut out for AJ. Ruiz legit won 2 rounds. Logic dictates that AJ would be the favorite going into a third scrap. Especially after Ruiz looked like absolute shit in his last fight and got dropped by an old and irrelevant Nipples. At least we can agree on the current Top 3 P4P being Usyk, Inoue, and Crawford. Not sure AJ is favored in 3rd fight. An in shape Ruiz KOs his glass again
Its abritrary whose #1 so long as #1-#3 contain Inoue, Usyk, and Crawford.
I was merely making a case that Spence is definitively NOT the next caliber after those 3 who've accomplished so much. Canelo, for example, is far better than Spence. Fury, for example, is better than Spence. Beterbiev is better than Spence. Jermell is better than Spence.
And somehow Spence is supposed to be #4?!? Based on WHAT
