Not sure AJ is favored in 3rd fight. An in shape Ruiz KOs his glass again

Its abritrary whose #1 so long as #1-#3 contain Inoue, Usyk, and Crawford.

I was merely making a case that Spence is definitively NOT the next caliber after those 3 who've accomplished so much. Canelo, for example, is far better than Spence. Fury, for example, is better than Spence. Beterbiev is better than Spence. Jermell is better than Spence.

And somehow Spence is supposed to be #4?!? Based on WHAT
AJ can outbox Ruiz with his eyes closed.

AJ can outbox an out of shape Ruiz easily but given the 1st fight it is less clear he can beat a motivated and trained Ruiz

Is motivated Ruiz the new Chuck with that look in his eye? Ruiz is a lazy slob in every fight. The difference was AJ not being concussed going into it.

Anyone who needs further evidence should watch more of Ruiz career.

Ruiz has more than the 1/20 shot he was predicted to have in the first fight, 20%-25% or so IMO. Joshua is highly likely to win now he knows he can just keep Ruiz at distance.

AJ was concussed going into Ruiz 1??? LMAO

He fought just fine till brutal KD. And by the way he fought the rematch extremelyn different...suggesting his performancve was not related to a concussion...otherwise he couldve fought the same way and not been concussed going into the fight.

There was a rumor that AJ was concussed going into the first Ruiz fight. Supposedly he got knocked out in sparring during his camp. I don't necessarily buy that but he did appear to be concussed after the first knockdown in the fight. He never recovered from it. His trainer, Rob McCracken, even recognized that he was concussed but still allowed him to continue. McCracken got a lot of criticism for that decision and drew the ire of many in the boxing world. His only other option would've been to pull the plug on AJ.

You seem to think that Ruiz would repeat what he did to AJ in the first fight. Highly unlikely. AJ will outclass him again by boxing & moving like he did in the rematch. Ruiz will look like he's stuck in the mud which is exactly how he looked the last time. Did you see Ruiz's last fight against Arreola (aka Nipples)? Arreola hasn't been relevant in many years yet he was consistently hurting Ruiz especially early on. He dropped him and then nearly dropped him again on a couple other occasions. Ruiz looked like ass. It's much more likely that AJ would box his ears off again if they fight a third time.

Bump the fight threads and you can read all about it. You can read folks here saying he looked off the entire day of the fight before he even stepped in the ring.

Regardless, its been shown Ruiz was a fluke and a slob.

Its bizarre how you accept that AJ was concussed prior to 1st fight - there's no proof - but deny Ruiz was grossly out of shape for 2nd fight - was pretty self evident.

In a 3rd fight Ruiz would concuss AJ again.

I never accepted that AJ was concussed prior to the first fight. Go back and read it again. I said that I don't buy it necessarily (that he was concussed prior to the fight). But during the fight he absolutely was concussed. His own trainer recognized it in the corner after the first knockdown. Ruiz got boxed up by AJ in the rematch and in his next fight got beat up and dropped by a shot 40 year old non-contender named Nipples. That's reality.

Well deserved! Usyk now is the number one Pound For Pound Boxer!
