I agree it's not worth $60. I paid $40 on PC and got my moneys worth. For most, I'd say wait for $30 or less unless you are a big RE fan.

These days, I like short and sweet and I'm ready to move on to other games.

Finally wrapped up my first Hardcore play through. IGT was a little over 7 hours. Felt like I did a pretty thorough job exploring and getting items/files. Total time was probably closer to 9-10 hours with deaths.

Loved the atmosphere it created. Going through the city was fantastic, the hospital was creepy as hell. Game is gorgeous, I didn’t notice any huge drops in frame rate which was good. I ended up enjoying the new story quite a bit, probably more than the original. Nemesis wasn’t implemented as much or like I thought he would be but overall I liked what they did with him. Any time he was around he felt like a legit threat.

Biggest gripe was that the game didn’t do enough to really stand on its own. Length didn’t bother me at all. It’s RE, the game is made with the idea that you’ll do multiple play throughs on harder and harder difficulty settings, trying to get better and better rankings. Problem was it just paled in comparison to RE2make.

I’d probably give it an 8/10. Incredibly fun when it was firing on all cylinders, didn’t take itself seriously and that added to the enjoyment. I think it might have taken some inspiration from DOOM in its approach. Not done as well but had fun with the premise and didn’t take itself very seriously. Score could go up depending on how the replayability is. Solid entry but nothing spectacular.

Watching some speed runs, man I was severely underutilizing my dodge. Also, Inferno looks absurd.

Idk how much time I'll have to grind given FF7 is Friday but I really want to try getting my S rankings across the board.

does it seem easier or harder to get S rank compared to the RE2 remake?

just started playing.. so far so good...

For most of the difficulties? Should be as easy if not easier. Nightmare and Inferno might be different stories though.

Yeah Dist like spams dodge and avoids a lot of damage. I watched him speed run the game instead of buying it lmao

Lol that’s a way to go too.

But yeah, I watched him earlier and want to see Bawk’s run. He currently holds the “record.”

How annoying is Nemesis? From what I've seen, he seems to randomly teleport in front of you.

I'd say less annoying than X because there are less things you need to do while he's around, he basically just chases you to the next cut scene. And yeah, he will be behind you and suddenly appear right in front of you. And he's next to no threat. The most damage that he inflicted on me was when I would take a corner too fast and run into a zombie.

Nightmare is kicking my ass. It just throws so much at you right off the bat. Can’t imagine how bad Inferno gets.

Capcom patched the Xbox version. Guess it runs at a pretty steady 60 at 4K now.

Good on them for getting on that so quickly.

I didn’t realize this dude was still a thing.

Yup, he's still a thing, somewhat.

He's tried to dip his toe in politics, and he's revealed himself to be an idiot.

But, I will say this about him, he's never made a bullshit videogame review. Can't say I've ever played a game he said was shit, and it was actually good, or vice-versa.
