I think it fits the mercenary profile. Scruffy, unkempt.

Jill looks good, though it’s hard for me not to expect to see Julia Voth.

A little torn on Nemesis. He looks great in the front profile but looks a little off in the other.

Yeah, it totally makes sense, but also very different from how he's looked in the past.

Jill looks pretty spot on imo.

No nose previously.

I think it’s the crazy long teeth that are throwing me off too.

Yeah, I think I prefer the old design for the most part. I'll see if they change it up or it grows on me though.

Looks like Capcom made her look very similar to how she was in the 2002 REmake.

I’m not seeing it too much. The model I posted earlier, Julia Voth, was who REmake Jill was modeled after. She’s kinda become the de facto Jill look.

New Jill’s features are sharper. Jaw, nose, etc.

How many times have we seen characters get complete makeovers between games so they're hardly recognizable?

In this case, the REmake version of Jill looks young, naive, and completely unprepared for a survival horror situation.

So she survives, barely, but many of her friends and teammates do not.

3 months later her face looks like she's lost a lot of body weight and she's aged a year or two. This aligns perfectly with the psychology of traumatic event survivors.

Yeah, the nose looks a bit different, bit its not THAT big of a deal.

At least the new version's hair doesn't look like she walked out of the salon as the Raccoon City T-Virus Outbreak began.

I wonder if they're going to keep the miniskirt.

Like I said, I like the look. Quite a bit actually.

Was the same thing with RE2make. They kept the essence of the characters in look and personality so it didn’t really matter that they didn’t look that close to their earlier versions. Facially they didn’t look too similar but kept the hairstyles and outfits more or less. Claire was a headstrong badass, Leon was a naive hero. They made them feel fresh but were instantly recognizable.

Like here, I think they still maintained her “girl next door look” which was key. They obviously have similar hairstyles and I think they’ll keep the tube top/miniskirt outfit. We’ll see what they do with her personality but I can’t wait to see more.

They need to go on ahead and make that Dino Crisis remake.

His face looks absolutely gruesome. The contortion with the nose, the long teeth making it look like they're literally pulling his face apart. Really looks like a horrifying mutation.

The caution tape hanging from his outfit is a nice touch.
