He didn't recuse himself because of media outrage, it was because ethical standards demanded it., as not only was he a surrogate during the campaign he also failed to acknowledge several meetings he had with Russians.

There's a separation of powers for a reason. The President is supposed to be a servant of the people not their boss. The Department of Justice is supposed to be independent and not act on the President's whims.

If a (D) was doing this, those hypocrites would turn shamelessly against it.

They used scare tactics to stoke fear of Hillary and her criminal intent... and elected this fucking guy.

Whether you like his policies or no, he's a wannabe dictator and a criminal disaster.

What are your classifications as good at his job?

Sessions is against the following:
Amnesty - tRUmp admin has wanted to lower the offerings for this
Marijuana - They had previously decided to stop the Obama era relaxed enforcement before a few months later flipping back
Illegal immigration - numbers suggest they're down in the tRUmp admin and arrests are up, however, the immigration numbers have been trending down as is

Those are the core of Sessions' beliefs... Seems like he's followed through or attempted to with them. Not sure what you expect from him...

Oh wait you probably want him to fire Mueller and go after tRUmp's political enemies. My bad then. By that standard, Sessions has failed miserably

They're such craven cowards. Their support for Trump depends on how the non crazy base Republican voter is taking this all.
Once the political winds seem to have turned, so they will fall away and seek to distance themselves.
