Apparently, that injury happened to Joe Theisman 33 years ago to the day (November 18, 1985). I remember watching it on television. It ended Joe's career. He tried out with I think the Rams years later, but he couldn't roll out to that side, and they declined to sign him. He hung it up for good after that.
