If we dispatch the moral dimension of this regulation, doesn't cocaine work more against the fighter than for him? What could he possibly benefit from having that shit in his system?once had an amateur mma fight Called off after weigh ins because the opponent popped his random drug test for cocaine. Good times
Red wine is more effective during the work out it opens up the blood vessels and increase nitric oxide levels which gives you better pump that’s what you want during training . Some supplements have red wine extract but it’s not as potent then actual wine , best bet is drink a glass or 2 in the beginning eventually the buzz wears off or mix it in with your own stuff .
I’ve got my best results for years including it , I include it sometimes with some red beat powder , half scoop of my pre work out , Agmatine sulfate and a little magnesium powder and Carnosyn .

I would avoid drinking red wine (or any wine) prior to a combat sport training session. Speaking with experience because I've stupidly done it once or twice, you'll get dehydrated quicker during the session, your cardio will not be as good especially during aanerobic exercices, and it will also slightly effect reflexes in sparring. I can imagine it might even make some people wanna puke.
