MT/KB Japan Recent fights/results/news from Japan II

How do you think a striking fight between him and Conor McGregor would go?

Totally different weight classes, but even if they were the same weight I think Tenshin is overrated anyway and Mcgregor certainly got the edge in explosiveness and athleticism.

I don't believe McGregor has the edge in neither athleticism or explosiveness but McGregor by KO of course... weight difference too big.

Didn't Tenshin say he'd accept a fight with McGregor in case McGregor lost weight?

McGregor was trolling but he would probably accept it, i mean he already fought mayweather and got KO'd

He's very good, high ranked in the stadiums, just fought the Rajadamnern 122lbs champion Kongthoranee, beat Gingsanglek last year and fought 126lbs Lumpinee champion Yodkitsada. He's pretty agrressive and has good boxing combinations which makes him a good match for K-1 if he can restrain himself from engaging the clinch.

Do you guys think Tenshin vs Mayeather was fixed? I mean, Tenshin has withstood way more heavy and better connected blows in other fights, like against Horiguchi... It seems doubtful that those punches from Mayweather would take him down or have the effect they did. The first "knock down" didn't even connect...

You could look up past threads in this forum it's been discussed extensively. We're not going to dirty up this thread with that discussion.

Since I can't create threads, I thought I'd end up asking in this thread as a way to gauge people's opinions on this. I didn't know there were other threads discussing it.

Can you link me to some of these threads?

Will be interesting to see how close Kaew is to retirement. Before he won his belt back, he was talking about having a good year or two of championship level performance left.

Rukiya is improving, but is he good enough to beat fading Kaew?

Kaew basically has 2 legit losses in KB and one was a really close decision. Rukiya is awesome but its hard to pick against Kaew.

no need to be good with Japanese judging
