what's an exhibition?

Throw a 10% kick. Smile. Tap gloves. Smile. Throw an exotic spin kick that intentionally comes up by 5 feet short. Crowd oohs and aahs. Smaller fighter does something to get a laugh. Big fighter asserts dominance in a somewhat aggressive but seemingly friendly way to let small fighter know he can kill him if he wants. Over.

Meh tired of seeing Kaew in K1 now. He needs to move to Glory even if there are only several fighters at his weight class. Adamchuk, Varga and maybe even RVR (if he comes down to 65kg) are better then anyone he fights in K1.

lol so true. Its still kinda cool though because its basically two cool fighters broing out together. I'd prefer to see that with them playing a K-1 video game or something though.

There are still some cool fights in K-1 for Kaew. A fight with a fresh Noiri would be good or a rematch with Glunder. My hope is that a Chinese promotion does a giant tournament at 65kg with all the big names + random Chinese guys.

Lmao. Glory 65 kg division is weak apart from Adamchuk. K-1 just have more and better fighters, tougher tournaments and more fights.

Gabriel Vargas best win was against Mosab Amrani, who is inconsistent and have lost to Hiroki Shishido and Masaaki Noiri. Yuta Kubo made easy work of Varga.

Mosab Amrani lost half of his fights in 2014-2016.

Adamchuk? He is good and got the decision over Marat Grigorian but not very convincingly, it could have gone both ways. He simply hasn't proven himself enough to say "he is better than any of kaews opponents in k-1". Maybe he is but he needs to prove it first.

Even in this fight against a non top 5 japanese he only won a split decision.

If anything, Adamchuk should go to K-1 if he wants to prove himself.

I'd rather see Saenchai, Adamchuk and Varga in K1.......K1 has the best featherweights out there by far

haha.

It's more likely we see them in K1 than the other way around, looking at how Glory treats their featherweight divison.

Either way ill be happy with. I just really want to see Kaew vs Varga or Adamchuk. I think that would show who the best 145pounder is today.

They would also need to beat all the other k-1 guys to truly be considered #1 imo

After tonight, I can't really say I want to see either of them fight Kaew. Nor can I really see either of them being a top 5 fighter in the division.

Kunlun should be smart and add Buakaw to kunlun fight 49 card(happening in japan)

he isnt fighting on kunlun fight 47 anymore so would be a good move for them, would be cool to see him fighting in japan again

pentachong and naruto banchamek are also in this card, they really could add buakaw too

You sorta called it. Buakaw is attending the event as a "special guest".

My assumption is that REBELS is hoping that Hinata can defeat Kraus and call him out.

Incidentally, Kunlun 49xREBELS 45 on Aug-7th is a massive card. The 12 Kunlun fights you posted will be followed by 8 REBELS fights.
.
Includes
- Miyamoto Keisuke (WBC MT International Super Bantamweight Champ) vs Kudo Masahi (REBELS 55kg Champ)
- Kenta (WBC Muay Thai Japan WW Champ) vs Suzuki Hiroaki (Shootboxing Super LW champ)
- Machida Hikari (REBELS 60kg champ) vs Nobe Kodai (RISE Super FW Champ)
- Genji Umeno (WBC MT World Super FW Champ) vs Yasuyuki (REBELS MT Super FW Champ)

Card will run from 11AM Japan time to probably midnight. Will be on Abema, so I might jump on to catch Tenshin.

wow, what a card it is developing to be,especially on Japanese side.

we already have a lot of very amazing Japanese or related to japan Kickboxers as Keijiro Miyakoshi ,Tenshin,Hinata,Kraus and Tetsuya Yamato and now seing this REBELS part of the card built it on a even better card with more Nippon amazing names

Umeno,Hiroaki Suzuki and Kenta in the same night are very good news

this card just became even better

i think Hinata will pass Kraus without too much problem,Kraus is very prime passed while Hinata still on good days,i miss to watch him against world class talents like the 2009-2013 period of his career,he is a powerful southpaw stance kicker and his middle kick is no joke,he fucked up a 2010 kyshenko and defeated a monster Zambidis and the cool Yasuhiro Kido in his prime, the guy is no joke, really world class talent
