Reason Conor hasent defended a belt?

lol dont like examples when they dont suit your plan i see?

Aldo has fough many smarter fights then the one against conor, you clearly havnt watched his decade long run if you think other wise. Watch the last frankie fight even to look at the difference in movement. Anyway people learn from loses thats what makes re matches interesting. Aldo gave one to the 2 toughest guys at 145. Conor should do the same

I don't like examples that are lazy and pulled out of someone ass to try and justify a stupid position. And you obviously are the one who hasn't watched Aldo's fights if you think that is any way uncharacteristic of him when he fights strikers.

LOL at the last Frankie fight. You have to be joking. You think Aldo's path to success is to just sit there and wait for a bigger, stronger, faster, more accurate and talented striker like McGregor (as opposed to Frankie) make mistakes in engaging and win a unanimous decision? You think Conor is going to go reeling backwards after each exchange like Frankie does? Or flail take down attempts? You think Conor is going to hop around the cage and engage with pitter patter punches? Really?

Here is the problem with you guys. You simply refuse to acknowledge that Conor is a different animal than anyone Aldo has fought before. You think you can watch Aldo fight Frankie and thing shit like that is going to work. Just like before they fought people showing gifs of Aldo fighting Hominick, Florian, Mendes, etc... as if they are in any way remotely close to what Conor does in the cage.

Conor literally explains in great detail what he is going to do to Aldo. Literally practices the exact shot that defeats Jose in the locker room before the fight. Yet people like you want to act like none of that is in any way indicative of him being superior to Aldo because....JDS once beat Cain in a fight where Cain literally fought unlike he ever had in his career.

Makes no sense. Good day sir.

The gif that just keeps on giffing lost count my ass the only time your back hairs rise up is when someone punches holes in your Conor rubbing posts. Veteran account acting like a casual Conor slobber nobber, shameful...

You guys just can't handle reality. You want to live in this world where Conor is not an elite fighter, and hasn't already destroyed a P4P great in his prime.

Keep posting those lame gifs, it doesn't change the facts.

your so completely blinded by love of one man you lose all logic. For your sake i hope if they fight conor doesnt lose, it would be pretty embarrassing at this point for you. But in reality you would have to be fucking retarded if you think aldo didnt learn anything from the first fight

I keep asking...what is Aldo going to do? Let's just focus on that. You truly think that Aldo is going to beat Conor by being patient and throwing leg kicks?

I'm genuinely curious to hear how you think Aldo will change his game to beat Conor.

nate kind of embarrassed conor already you do know that right?? no camp came off a vacation and tapped him out made him give up his back without even trying to defend. Well i hope that was him just giving up and not his actual ground defense because thats pretty embarrassing for an elite fighter

Because he keeps looking for bigger challenges. Next is Woodley at WW.

yes i think leg kicks is going to be a big part of it. If you havnt watched any of his fights he has some of the best leg kicks in mma.

Indeed Nate did. And then Nate lost when both men were truly prepared.

so you think nate had the advantage in the first fight being on vacation and not having a training camp at all oppose to the guy who had a full camp?? or do you think having a rematch gave him time to re think a better game plan to get the win.............

Be careful how you answer that one, its a bit of a set up ;)

And how does Aldo set up his leg kicks? You think he's just going to stand toe to toe with Conor and just blast his leg like he did to Faber? You think that's going to work?

It's a pitiful attempt at a setup. I have said numerous times that Conor is smarter than Aldo. Conor correctly acknowledged what he did wrong, trained to fix it, and won.

Aldo has said numerous times that it's a fluke and wasn't a real fight. He doesn't believe that he did anything wrong and that it was an "accident."

So while Conor addressed his issues, and has improved dramatically, Aldo chalks the whole thing up to bad luck and essentially has an exact repeat of his fight with Frankie.

And to take it even farther, Nate vs Conor is not Conor vs Aldo. They are different fighters, with different nuances. Another lazy ass comparison.

I get this post actually. If I were in the ufc at his level I would want to pursue bigger challenges. The only issue I have with this argument though is, for anyone who understands this sport, I think Aldo rematch was a harder challenge than Eddie. I knew the eddie fight was a mismatch from the beginning.
It was about the belt, he wanted to fight RDA and fought diaz because rda dropped out due to injury, Aldo could have stepped in on short notice but his camp refused (shortly before this Aldo did a interview where he said he would fight conor anytime anywhere) diaz took the fight. Diaz subbed conor . Conor wants a rematch has a bit of leverage with ufc and so he gets it and wins. Now back to original goal. Get lw belt Eddie has belt conor TKOS Eddie. Next fight not announced.

You just keep spewing the sh!t don't you? Which P4P great in his prime did he destroy? Think twice before you say Aldo because according to Conor even before the fight he considered Jose Aldo beaten and weathered from all the damage he taken in his career. I get it beaten & weathered before the fight P4P great in his prime now that you won the fight, you seem more legit beating a P4P than beating a weathered champ.

McGregor is always trying to make himself bigger. Another belt, and another belt, Mayweather fight, etc. Defending a belt he already has doesn't really do that, it just keeps him where he's already at.

lol just one that doesnt fit your narrative is the problem. unless its sheepel that argee with your every word people are wrong. conor will never lose he is to good no one can beat him or will. i get it man. cool story. hope for your personal well being he doesnt lose, but if he does i suggest a purple pillow to hide behind, worked great for ronda

Use your own head. I don't care what Conor said; he has to sell fights. Aldo is a P4P all-time great fighter and he was in his prime. Do YOU disagree with either of those statements?

Again, you can't address any of the actual points.

I never said Conor would never lose. Khabib, Tony, and Nate are very serious threats to defeat him. A rematch with Max is also a hell of a lot more interesting than one with Aldo.

I simply ask you guys to enlighten me on why you think the first fight is a fluke and I never get anything other than "leg kicks" and "JDS VS Cain!!!"

You don't sell fights by calling your opponent beaten & weathered, you sell fights by greasing the wheels & pumping the tires I wanna see the P4P & #1 challenger, like I wanna see the Champ and the #1/2 contender face-off. Stop bringing up names you got a comfort zone with.

As for question I do believe Jose Aldo was at one time P4P the greatest I'm just not sure if he truly was when he faced Conor hard to assess a 13second fight, this why I wanted the rematch and probably the reason why Conor avoided so hard.

So basically you are saying that you are waiting to see a rematch with Conor to decide if Aldo was in his prime or not? Beating Frankie again wasn't enough to make that call? You want to see if Aldo loses to Conor (again) and then say "Yep. Not in his prime." Or if Aldo wins then "Yeah, he's still in his prime and the best!"

Sorry, seems weak as shit to me. Everyone knows Aldo is a P4P elite and very much still in his prime.

I'll tell you what, Payne, come find me if this rematch ever happens. I'd love to make a friendly wager with you on the outcome.

Just pointing out, Conor basically attributed the first loss to Nate as a fluke, due to a new weight class against a different opponent, via his public persona, where as in the gym he was working his ass off to fix the mistake. I imagine Aldo is doing the same.

Also, why would Aldo change his formula against Frankie if it worked so well the first time? I'd even say it worked better the second time.

Conor is a great fighter. Aldo is a great fighter. You just give one too much credit and the other too little.
