That obviously would never happen. Its another month max. We just need to do this long enough so the hospitals can cope. Guys like Kong love this because he hates trump and wants everyone to be as poor as him

Which seems like a really stupid post considering all the examples of people gleefully breaking quarantine only to find that some have become infected.

No, it’s not. Last year we had 34,000 flu deaths. We already surpassed half of that in only 40 days during a massive shutdown to prevent the spread. We’re in the 18,000s already with schools closed and stay-at-home orders.

Yeah. We only have around 400 people in hospitals with covid in all of NC. We are not in danger of going over our hospitals' capacity

Some act as if this is all perfectly normal and there's no reason the government, under Trump, decided this was unlike any previous pandemic, and took action.

If we just practice smart social distancing, the virus will run out of hosts.

It's so simple.
 
With SARS people were only contagious when they had symptoms, so it was really easy to spot people who needed to be isolated. That's how they managed to end it. Even though it's the same family, the characteristics of this virus are very different.
