Shara, while he's been active and his last KO was sick, he hasn't really fought anyone ranked yet so it's a bit of an extra push there altho I think that most likely means they're trying to set up a fight between him and someone else above him
I assume his next opponent will be a Jack or Costa type. Vettori and Allen are options too if you wanna aim a bit higher

As if you didn't already know rankings are a joke, Jared Cannonier is below Marvin Vettori despite absolutely destroying him a year ago. Vettori hasn't competed since and has no fight booked.

They gave this unproven bum the #14 spot so they can feed him to Bo Nickel, and securing his spot so he doesn't fall out of the rankings when then next unranked fighter cracks the top 15, hence allowing Nickels to get a legit ranking after he ties Shara's legs up for 15 minutes, then feeding him to Khamzat once he gets the belt.

Not clear at all. They both have fewer top 10 wins than Alex Pereira. Jones has way more top wins than everyone else but he's pretty inactive.

I swear there were rumblings of a Magomedov/Vettori match up earlier this year.

I think they’re going for Vettori/Allen next due to the beef outside of the cage.

I would assume Shara faces Costa or Hermansson next. Unless he really insists he fights at UFC Macau, then I believe he’ll fight someone unranked, maybe Shahbazyan

Pereira is a 2 division champion, and his current run at LHW has 4 wins against 3 UFC champions.

Vettori should drop for inactivity, but why do you think a guy shouldn't drop in the rankings for losing twice? That's pretty normal
