I don't think Shara is a legit contender. They can make WB, Holland or Paige fight at MW. I think those guys might entertain it especially Holland. In terms of real competition within the top 15 then the proper fight to make is probably Paulo, Roman and Michel. Paulo is the most dangerous one out of the bunch but he has low ring IQ. Roman doesn't have good striking and his takedowns are bad. Michel can only fight hard for one round.

And he beat Brian Ortega who was ranked #3...why do people act confused that movsar is below lopes when he's done less.

he beat him on his ufc debut and short notice. Since then lopes has had 5 fights including Ortega who's higher ranked than anyone movsar has beaten. Movsar has had one fight since. Evloev is nowhere near being the #1 contender. He needs better wins than arnold allen. Having any favoritism for evloev is as retarded as assuming any of lopes' recent accomplishments might as well be attributed to movsar since he beat him a year ago LMAO. Quit being a retard.

Not clear at all. They both have fewer top 10 wins than Alex Pereira. Jones has way more top wins than everyone else but he's pretty inactive.

Pereira is a 2 division champion, and his current run at LHW has 4 wins against 3 UFC champions.

If you walked away from watching Pereria/Jan thinking he was a top p4p fighter then there's nothing I can say.

Nobody in history has had a career full of gifted matchups like him, so it's an unprecedented situation. And LHW is one of the least talented divisions in the modern era. Pereira is a striker who hasn't fought or proven himself against anybody known for their wrestling.

Jones is retiring after Stipe for good reason. He was washed way back when he barely got past one leg Santos and Reyes. Gane's grappling is that bad which is why he waited for Francis to leave before coming back for the French Kickboxer.

Islam and Topuria are the top two and it's not even close.

I think those were just opening odds and now Ankalaev is down to like -140 or so last I saw.

But yeah still amusing to see people argue for Pereira as the #1 P4P when he was knocked out in his final fight at MW & isn't even favored to defeat the top contender at LHW.
