Rank Conor Mcgregor at 170 lbs.

Usman
Colby
Masvidal
Edwards
Wonderboy
Ponzi
Maia
RDA
Lawler
Neal

are all better so not top 10 unless u dont believe in Neal

he could beat guys like Luque and Magny for sure maybe Jingliang too.

His best win is still Nate who is 4-4 at welterweight and only top win is against a LW in Pettis who got a massive upset KO against Wonderboy in a fight he was getting tuned up in. Nate has gotten ragdolled, manhandled and beaten to a pulp by the real welters hes fought
M8, did you seriously just make the case Lawler is better than Conor now? Wow.

he's a journey man right now at 170. just because he ko'd cowboy, who's been already t/ko'd twice at lightweight in the last 7 months before their fight, doesn't mean he shoots up the ww rankings.

Top 50
But still untested enough.

Usman and Colby wrestle fuck him and destroy him.

I hate Conor threads (why am I posting) but he is top 5 but he's never winning the title while Usman is champ

My ranking, based on scientific data:
Conor at 169 < Conor at 170 < Conor at 171

Cowboy had a war with Robbie Lawlor who was champ at 170 . So no doubt Conor has the ability to beat plenty of 170 guys. Nate was just so durable and he really good boxing so was constantly moving away from Conors power .

I think we have to see Conor go again at 170 maybe against RDA ?

However I am not sure how he would do against the bigger wrestlers like Colby and Usman . He certainly has the power to trouble them though . We need to see him against a bigger 170 guy next

Well he is. Just look how he beat Cerrone at 170. Guy who had razor close fight with Robbie Lawler and finished many good WW's. You are huge moron if you deny his skills just because you hate him.

Has nothing to do with his skills. You don't rank someone off of their skills and how they might do hypothetically. He has beaten zero WW's therefore you don't rank him at WW. Derp.

I don't even rank him. He is not a WW. He is a LW who fought two LWs at WW for some reason

Well Nate is ranked no.6 at WW and Conor beat him so Conor must be top 5 minimum.

Cowboy had a pretty successful run at WW, he could still compete there and be at least a top 10 fringe WW. Conor is significantly better obviously so its a legit question, he is certainly good enough to be ranked.

Feed Conor to Wonderboy.. striker vs striker that'd be an interesting fight.

If we want to sit around and guess he might be top ten. No one knows until he actually goes and fights the current WW's.

I like the guy aboves suggestion. Let's see him fight Wonderboy. A real WW who is purely a striker. I would think Conor fans would be all for it right?

Is there an available list of the “media” that votes on this? Conor moving past Justin with a win over Cowboy is absolutely ridiculous. They need to be called out and taken to task.

I’d bet on Lawler to win that fight. Lawler is a good sized welterweight (former middleweight). Lawyer’s chin has held up well so far too.
As far as ranking Conor at welterweight, he probably would sit just outside the Top 10.

Cowboys “nice run” was 4 years ago. It consisted of 1 year and 4 wins. Since that time he went 2-4, and left the division at 6-4 without a win over an opponent in the current top 15. Your delusion clouds your mind. Cowboy would not be ranked in today’s WW division. He shouldn’t even be ranked where he is at LW.
