As I say, that kind of interview only informs us the world these people are from. The grandson might know the grandfather's views on such matters quite well. They also might not know, and are just soundboxing.

What remains important is the probable cause statement, which stated (not just implied) that there was a racial element.

The fact some family member has appeared (he might 1 of 20 grandchildren for all we know), and suggested he was racist because he fits a racist, Christian character profile is no reason for people worldwide to look to shit on that family member. He might well be wrong, but he might well be right. His bio doesn't tell us either way.
